Local activities in and around Vera, Almeria
The long sandy beaches of Vera and Mojaca Playas are only a five minute drive away. The Playa has many restaurants for you to dine in and if you love beach bars to while away the days and nights you'll find plenty of those to explore.
The Valle del Este Resort has a wonderful hotel spa and gym as well as a pool-side bar with fabulous views across the course and surrounding mountains.
For families, the nearby Vera Aqua Park is a great place for everyone to make a splash and you can "go wild" at the nearby Almeria Western experience.
If you're into golf take the challenge and play a round on the professionally designed golf course. And relax in the evening whilst sipping a cool drink and listening to the frogs' chorus at dusk on the natural water features surrounding the nature trail.
The scenery is stunnng - you don't have to be a bird watcher to see eagles wheeling over the mountain tops and if you enjoy mountain biking there are miles of off-road tracks for bikers and walkers to explore. On a cooler day you can ride or drive to the nearby mountain tops to watch the fabulous sunsets from the nearby mountain tops.
And finally. if you like sunbathing in the altogether go natural on the Vera's world-famous naturist beach.
