This beautifully built, little wooden chalet with pool, is set within the owners grounds, in a quiet spot close to the town of Antibes. It comprises of a combined living/bedroom with a kitchen area, a well-appointed shower room, a large veranda, a shared swimming pool, beautifully landscaped gardens and car parking.
The chalet is in a peaceful location within the hills behind Antibes, and has very easy access to the A8 autoroute – ideally placed to tour the Cote d’Azur region.
Living room is combined with the bedroom and kitchen, and has 2 wicker armchairs, a dining table with 4 chairs, a TV (French) and a DVD player. Kitchen area is fully equipped and has an oven/microwave, gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, iron and ironing board. There is also a washing machine in an area behind the chalet.
Bedrooms: There are 2 good-sized single beds. An additional folding bed is also available upon request. Bathrooms: There is a well-appointed shower room with shower cubicle, WC, hand basin and hairdryer.
Outside there is a large south-facing veranda of 10 square metres, with table and 4 chairs and an electric barbeque. There is also a lawned garden of approximately 100 square metres, with an olive tree and 2 sunloungers. Swimming pool is shared with the owner’s house, is approximately 12x6 metres and has a safety alarm. It would ideally suit 2 people, perhaps with a small child or baby.

Local shops, restaurants and a boulangerie can be found approximately 800 metres away. A large “Carrefour” supermarket is just 1 km away. Local markets are also held in the old town of Antibes, approximately 4kms away.
Sporting activities in the area are abundant– there is golf, tennis, fishing, a gym, water sports and the beach. You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here, which makes walking and cycling very popular.
Beaches can be found close by in Antibes (5km) and Juan-les-Pins (7km). The ski stations of Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are approximately 1 hour’s drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
Getting around: there is a regular local bus service and a bus stop approximately 500 metres away. The train station at Antibes provides regular services along the coastline of the French Riviera. A car is recommended but not essential.
Sightseeing is endless; you are ideally placed here to tour the Cote d’Azur! The nearest places of interest are The Old Town and Port of Antibes, Cannes and its “Croisette”, the Old Town of Mougins, Vallauris and its potteries, Biot and its glass makers, the water park at Marineland, St Paul de Vence and its art galleries and the city of Nice. Other entertainment includes the shopping, casinos & nightlife of Cannes, boat trips, cinemas, wine tasting, helicopter rides, or just good old relaxing by the pool!
Chalet Tulipe can be easily accessed from the A8 autoroute. Nice airport is approximately 25 kilometres away. There are regular bus and train services to Antibes. Full directions will be sent to you.

Rental Notes: Winter heating: There is a reversible heating and cooling system. Winter heating is included in the rental cost but cooling in the summer is charged separately according to a meter (please ask for details). End-of-stay cleaning: there is a charge of 20 Euros payable directly to the owners. Bed & bathroom linen: it is usual in France to take your own bedroom & bathroom linen with you, however it is possible to rent each of these from the owner at a price of 7 Euros per person, per week.
Taxe de Sejour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay, however it is not required at this property. Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 500 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages. Long weekend stays: are possible in low season upon request.
