This luxurious and spacious beachfront villa in Tatlisu, near Kyrenia, North Cyprus, is situated within a small, select complex of just 31 villas and 24 apartments. The development boasts 2 communal swimming pools (including a children's pool), is situated right on its own private beach, and has breathtaking sea views.

As the villa is perched at the top of cliffs, access to the beach is restricted to a winding path and thus not suitable, unfortunately, for wheelchairs.
Local activities in and around Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus
North Cyprus is a beautiful country and still largely underdeveloped. English is widely spoken, and the Turkish Cypriot people are renowned for their generous hospitality. When out shopping or enjoying a meal, you are made to feel particularly welcome. If you like peace and solitude yet enjoy the trappings of modern life, North Cyprus cannot be beaten.
The exotic cuisine of Cyprus reflects its history and maritime associations. Turkish Cypriot cooking is a fascinating blend of East and West. Evening meals begin with a sumptuous "meze" - hors d'oeuvres consisting of as a many as 20 small dishes - before the main course.
Close to Sweet Homes Villa are several large turtle beaches, and a little further afield is the historic port and harbour of Kyrenia. The island has a great historical past, and there are many tourist attractions to be found. If you want to take a look at the modern Nicosia, the border is only 35 km from the villa, and is full of shops such as M & S, Next etc.
The unique climate of Cyprus offers year-round opportunities for a perfect holiday. Rainfall is concentrated in December & January, and the average sea temperature is above 20 ºC for more than half the year. There are over 300 sunny days every year.
The coastline of North Cyprus offers some of the finest and safest bathing areas in the Mediterranean, and the crystal clear waters of the eastern Med are wonderful for swimming, diving & snorkelling, sailing and water-skiing. The picturesque ancient port of Girne is on the north coast, and Gazimagosa is in the east.
Nearer the coast, most activity is concentrated along the coast road. A legacy from the British colonial days means that traffic drives on the left.
Inland, behind the rocky Girne range and the imposing Five Finger Mountain, stretches the huge fertile Mesaoria plain, Ercan airport and the island's capital, Lefkosa.
Along the east coast lie the ancient fortified city of Gazimagosa and the nearby ruins of Salamis.
St Hilarion Castle
Fairytale Castle of St Hilarion perched dizzily thousands of feet above the bay of Kyrenia, a clambering ruin which the Disney Studio took as its inspiration for the castle in Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.
Nicosia
The present day capital city of the island - it has a population of around 150,000 and it is divided into Turkish and Greek sectors by a boundary known as the "green line" which runs in an east/west direction.
Famagusta
One full day spent in Famagusta will provide the history of Cyprus in a nutshell. It is believed that this city occupies the site of the ancient town of Arsinoe.

These are sites that will give the experienced diver thrills and the warm, crystal-clear water and limited depth provide perfect learning conditions for the beginner.
To the north east of Kyrenia, set on the side of a mountain, this twelfth century monastery is a fine example of Gothic architecture of the Lusignan period. The abbey comprises of a church, refectory, dormitory and storage rooms grouped around an inner courtyard.
Kyrenia Castle
The castle, which lies to the northeast of Kyrenia, dominates the harbour and is built on the tetragonal form. Lying at the east of the castle is the ancient shipwreck museum, housing the oldest trading ship known, which was raised from the bottom of the sea with her cargo.
Marine Life in North Cyprus
About 46 sandy beaches in North Cyprus comprise the main nesting grounds for the two main types of sea-turtles.

A holding (returnable) deposit against breakages/losses of £150 per booking is also required.
