Capri is a 5 bedroom family house, situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, overlooking the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway. New Romney station is just a two minute walk from the house - a railway fan's paradise!
Furnished and equipped with ease and comfort in mind, the house is big enough for two families to holiday together, but equally suitable for a group of adults wanting a comfortable base from which to explore the many delights of this part of Kent.
We have tried to make the house feel like a home for our visitors. Children are welcome, and we also provide basic children's equipment (see below). The house has views to the rear and side over fields - on a clear day you can see Dover's white cliffs! (N.B. More internal photos coming soon!)
The ground floor of the house has a bright and airy feel, with a comfortably furnished sitting room and seating for nine. The sitting room has Sky TV, dvd, video and stereo system, and we provide an extensive library of videos and dvds for your enjoyment, suitable from small children to adults. Some toys and a good selection of family games are also provided.
Off the sitting room is the conservatory, which is a haven of warmth and sunshine - great for breakfasting in on sunny mornings. The conservatory and dining room have doors leading to the garden, and the dining room seats up to 10 people. The kitchen is well equipped for all your needs, and also has a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier.
Two of the house's five bedrooms are on the ground floor, one having a double bed, and one having two single beds. There is a bathroom on the ground floor, with WC, hand basin, and bath, with electric shower over. The three other bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a king sized double bed, one has two single beds, and the third has one single bed and one child sized single bed.
There is also a bathroom on the first floor, with WC, hand basin and a bath. All the bedrooms have ample clothes storage space.
The enclosed garden has a sunny terraced area, a small area of lawn, and a 'secret garden' under a weeping willow, with a wooden wendy house and a swing. From the garden you have a good view of the trains, railway and engine shed. The trains run past the garden fence to the side - become 'the railway children' for a week!

Alternatively, if you wish to 'get away from it all', days can happily be spent roaming Romney Marsh Nature Reserve, with little else but sheep, birds and picturesque old churches for company!
