Panoramic, characteristic and tucked away garden apartment for four people with an optional annex for two more. The apartment is ideally situated just north of Rome, in a quiet location 2 miles from the characteristic medieval hilltop town of Castelnuovo di Porto. Surprisingly untouched by tourism, the area offers a truly authentic environment. At the apartment, guests can relax and enjoy the pool -side comforts in a country setting after a day (or even just a morning) visiting the many wonderful sights in Rome or the surrounding areas.
The main apartment sleeps 4, and the optional double bedroom (with private bathroom) in the annex brings the total beds to 6.

Castelnuovo di Porto is a semi-rural location on the Via Flaminia, 45mins by train/car from Rome centre and conveniently placed for the Rome north motorway entrance.
A car is necessary. The property is 3km from the town itself on a private estate with security gate and there is private parking inside the property. The 'Pink House' is one of two holiday apartments on the property, but is independent and set apart from the main villa, almost a little hideaway.
The apartment has one double bedroom plus a smaller room with bunk beds and can be rented on its own or along with its annex which has a further double bedroom and bathroom giving accommodation for 6 in all. A fully furnished spacious living/dining/kitchen opens onto a lovely private terrace with barbecue and pergola for dining al fresco while enjoying the view. The apartment is fully equipped with good quality accessories to ensure a comfortable stay. There is central heating and an open fireplace for the cooler seasons.
In a secluded position on the lower garden level, the apartment looks out over the valley and guests can enjoy the surroundings in privacy. A few steps up on the main garden level there is the pool (10m x 5m) and a large sun terrace with views across the valley to the medieval town of Castelnuovo. Palms and olive trees offer welcome shade for relaxing and holiday reading. There is also the boules pitch for fun and some undemanding activity!
On Tuesdays there is a small market in the town, very good for fresh fruit and vegetable. For those who do not wish to cook, pizzerias and restaurants in the area are not lacking. In addition, Castelnuovo has one of the best ice-cream parlours for miles around - with fantastic views out to the Sabine hills included in the price!

Lake Bracciano is some 40 minutes drive across country for sailing and swimming. Historically interesting and very scenic. Valle del Treia protected nature reserve 20mins for walks. Tivoli with Hadrian's Villa 45mins. Viterbo 1hr. 15mins to A1 motorway for Florence, Naples, Pompei.
