Lovely house situated in a quiet village in the centre of the Cherbourg Peninsula. Fantastic location for exploring the local area as well as the D-Day landing beaches and other places of interest.

This old house has been completely renovated. The downstairs consists of a large open plan kitchen/diner/living room area, luxury bathroom and upstairs consists of a large master bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. There is also an upstairs WC/basin.

1 Bathroom, 1 Separate WC. The main bathroom is situated downstairs and has a luxurious corner bath, with separate shower, and double wash basin. There is also a WC/wash basin upstairs.
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses and all the utensils you will need. There is also a separate utility room with washing machine, ironing board and iron.

Seating for 6. As well as the dining room guests can also eat outside, where there is ample garden furniture.
Entertainment:
DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. There are plenty of books, radio/CD player and games. Also, tennis and badminton rackets, balls etc are kept in the garage.
Outside:
Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. There is a large terrace at the back of the house, as well as a huge garden. Guests can move the garden furniture to where they wish to dine. Plenty of room for parking.

Local activities in and around La Haye Du Puits, Normandy
Apart from the beaches, there are many attractions, including the weekly markets (Wednesday in La Haye du Puit), D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux with its tapestry and cathedral, Le Mont St Michel etc.
There are also a number of sporting activities nearby, such as golf courses (including mini golf), canoeing, forest adventure (climbing, zip lines etc and which comes highly recommended), pedaloes, and of course the petanque pitch in the village itself.
In this area there is also an animal park which will appeal to young children, and a water park and numerous other family activities.

Rental Notes: We are very flexible as to changover times and this can be discussed on an individual basis.
The nearest port is Cherbourg (only 45 minute drive) and we can obtain a discount with Brittany Ferries for guests.
Guests will need to bring their own bed linen (just sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases) and towels/tea towels.
