This contemporary apartment was completed in March 2007 and all rooms are furnished to a very high standard.
There is a spacious kitchen, lounge and dining area leading out to a small shaded terrace at the front of the property. The lounge and dining area comfortably seat 5 people. The terrace leads out to the secure pool area with sun loungers available.
The first bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom has bunk beds and an adult size single bed. Both bedrooms lead out to a private terrace, perfect for sunbathing and eating out. A barbeque is available for alfresco dining.
The apartment is only a few minutes walk from Burgau’s good range of restaurants, bars and its beautiful beach - one of the best in the Algarve. There are also plenty of other quiet, sandy beaches within an easy drive of the apartment.
Burgau is just 15 minutes drive from Lagos and two of the Algarve’s best golf courses. Burgau is situated on the edge of a national park and is still a working fishing village. Burgau's unique charm is the village's ability to appeal to everyone, regardless of age or interests. People who have been once to the Western Algarve usually come back time after time.

Local activities in and around Burgau, Western Algarve
The western Algarve is an area of beauty, with rugged mountain landscapes, coastlines filled with rocky coves and sandy beaches, and quaint villages set on the seafront or tucked in the hills.
The beautiful beach of Burgau, one of the best and safest in the Algarve, is just a few minutes walk away. There are numerous other secluded beaches within easy driving distance, many of them among the most stunning beaches you will ever see.
There are a dozen restaurants within walking distance in and around Burgau, many more in Luz and Lagos. There is an excellent and very popular restaurant right on the beach at Burgau.
There are two world class golf courses within 10 minutes drive - Parque de Floresta and Boa Vista. There are also several other courses within a 25 minute drive.
Luz is a 5 minute drive with a wider range of restaurants, shops and a larger supermarket. Lagos - a beautiful, historic town with its own marina - is 15 minutes drive. Anybody that likes to explore can really enjoy Burgau as their base to travel to the west coast (beautiful beaches/surfing). Monchique (mountains/ spa). Sagres (the end of the world/great sunsets). For nature-lovers, a dolphin watching trip from Lagos is good value.
For the children, Lagos Zoo is 15 minutes drive, there is an excellent riding school within 5 minutes, two huge waterparks are within 30 minutes and ZooMarine - with its aquatic animal shows and small theme park – is just 35 minutes away.
Burgau is easily reached from Faro airport by following the A22 motorway beyond Portimao. Exit at junction 1, take the EN125 for ten minutes west from the Lagos area and watch for signs to Burgau.

Rental Notes: The usual changeover day is Saturday but this is negotiable in low season. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before the date of travel. A refundable £200 damage deposit (cheque) is also required at the time of booking. This will not be cashed and returned to you following your holiday. Bed linen and towels are provided (not beach towels). A travel cot, high chair and baby buggy are all available free of charge.
