With an average daily temperature of 21º, the Murcia area of Spain offers a lovely climate for year round holidays.
Murcia is an unspoilt area of Spain, relatively new to tourism, but with the advantage of the La Manga holiday desintations and facilities close by. The traditional tourist attractions and theme parks of the Benidorm area are around one and a half hour's drive.
The tranquil and warm waters of the Mar Menor lagoon are only 10 minutes drive from La Torre. These waters are very popular with young families, and the seaside towns of Los Alcazares and Santiago de la Ribera make a welcome change from the overcrowded and noisy resorts futher north. Water sports are also popular in this area and scuba diving schools can be found at the La Mange club and on the coast.
The historic cities of Murcia and Cartangena are within a half hour drive and offer traditional Spanish museums, restaurants as well as trendy shopping centres and modern leisure facilities.
Murcia is becomming one of the most popular areas in Europe for golfers. As guests at the La Torre resort, you would enjoy access to all the Polaris World golf courses on the Jack Nicklaus Trail.
