Mill House: Sleeps 2 plus 1& baby (cot available upon request). A quaint stone converted Water Mill, ideal self catering holiday accommodation for the fishing enthusiasts ,comprising of I large double bedroom on the first floor, with antique French bed and sitting area, en suite shower room with WC.
A single foldaway bed and cot are available upon request. The ground floor is open plan, consisting of a fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, dual microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a dining table and chairs, comfortable suite, Satellite TV and video, and corner fireplace with attractive log burner. The ceilings are beamed and views extend over the millpond to the private lake, with the millstream running directly below the side window.
There is a private patio with garden furniture and bench seat to the rear of the property with a wonderful view over the lakes; a barbecue and logs can be found in the nearby barn.
THE MILL

Moulin de Niziau is a pretty 16th century Stone built Cottage and separate converted Water Mill, set in 5 acres of idyllic private grounds, which has a trout stream running through it, a mill pond and large lake stocked with Carp. A rowing boat is available.
It is a peaceful haven for wildlife, which includes otters, red squirrels, stoats and various uncommon species of wild birds, such as buzzard, sparrow hawk, nuthatch, and kingfishers, which makes this the ideal setting to escape and relax.
Situated in the in a quiet hamlet in the heart of Brittany, approximately 2 hours from the port of St. Malo.
The small town of Guern is 2 kms drive, where you can find a Boulangerie and several bars. There are 2 more large lakes here and a small park with children’s play area. Pontivy is about 15 mins drive, an historic town with Chateau set on the river Blavet, and it boasts numerous good restaurants, many shops, a market day and a number of supermarkets and shopping centres.
Guemene sur Scorff, 12 kms drive, is an old town with shops, an excellent Creperie, a market and a Supermarket. 25kms away at Mur de Bretagne is a superb Lake with artificial beach & water sports. The coast is also within easy reach.

Cycling for all stages from the gentle towpaths beside the Blavet river, through quiet country lanes and villages to the more exacting marked trails..
Walking: there are numerous well-marked paths through forests, along the coast and rivers.
Fishing; all types of angling is catered for and daily or weekly permits are available.

Historic towns such as Pontivy, Auray Vannes Josselin and Quimper have retained much of their medieval character and are well worth a visit.
Markets for fresh produce and local crafts are found each day of the week in local towns. Cottages will have details of specific days.
Try also the craft village of La Gacilly and Pont Scorff.
