The Coach House and adjoining Lindeth Lodge have always been known locally as the Wolf House. Ted and Denise Dowbiggin have thoroughly enjoyed using the experience as ex-Gallery owners to sensitively convert the historic Coach House. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or AONB as it is known must be one of the prettiest corners of England. Main roads and motorways lie not far away to the east, but along the rolling byways of Silverdale, the countryside has a charm associated with a bygone age of traditional farming and wildlife.

Downstairs Lounge
The Coach House sits alongside the Wolf House overlooking one of the most stunning views in the area. The owners have lived in the adjoining 18th Century farmhouse for the past 30 years. The conversion was completed early in 2003. The building has space for 2 units but Ted and Denise thought their visitors would appreciate the spacious surroundings both inside and out. Imagine having the choice of sitting in a shady courtyard, the front terrace, sheltered by a huge beech tree or the castellated upstairs terrace with its stunning views over the Bay. Kitchen/Diner/downstairs lounge - The oak kitchen was made by local craftsmen. It has granite work surfaces and all mod cons. Again wonderful views of the Estuary to the front and immediate access to the courtyard at the rear. There is a polished oak floor and spiral staircase to the upstairs lounge. The upstairs lounge is large and airy with views over the Estuary. Patio doors leading to the castellated terrace and staircase to the courtyard below. Wood burning stove for winter months, ample seating including a luxurious leather suite. All rooms have original paintings and ceramics. There is even a Georgian Rocking Horse suspended from the ceiling.

Situated on an official cycle route (storage for bicycles available).
