The 'La Borboleta' urbanisation has a fantastic 300m2 swimming pool and separate children's pool in the centre of the gardens. This is a perfect spot to spend the day relaxing, enjoying the sea views and watching sailing boats and water sports enthusiasts pass along the Mediterranean sea. The gardens have direct access to the beach. Although this is a quieter area of the beach a 2 minute stroll will take you to the nearest beach bar for a great seafood lunch or afternoon drink.
The property itself is excellently positioned within the development as it has the advantage of great sea views from 2 levels. As soon as the sun rises over the Mediterranean it pours onto the private terraces in preparation for a great day, relaxing, dining and sunbathing. Guests in this property can enjoy Sky television, air conditioning, 3 spacious private bedroom and an enormous penthouse bedroom and lounge area. The property is very well equipped and excellent for a family holiday by the beach.
There is a superb Spanish "churinguito" beach bar very near the resort which is opn during the summer month. Seafood is caught and cooked infront of you on a daily basis. For a true taste of Spain you can relax here and enjoy beer and sangria and watch the sun set over the Mediterranean. A renowned Spanish restaurant is also located within a 2 minute walk from the property. Only traditional spanish food is served and for a romantic night out this is the place to be. All other amenities are a 5 minute car drive away and attractions include some of the best golf courses in Europe and the famous marinas of Sotogrande, Puerto Duquesa.

2 Double Bedrooms, 2 Twin Bedrooms. The double rooms have sea views, terraces and hot and cold air conditioning. The "4th bedroom" is open plan and stands alone on the upper floor. It is sufficiently private but does not have a door.

2 Bathrooms, 1 Separate WC. There is an ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower and double vanity unit. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. There is a guest toilet on the lower floor.

Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted to a very high stndard using marble worktops and wooden doors. There is a utility room from the kitchen for drying clothes etc.

Satellite TV. The property boasts Sky Television. Externally the resort has a large swimming pool and Paddle Tennis court (racquets not provided).

Communal Pool, Terrace, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. The terracing is spacious and equipped with 2 dining tables seating 6 on the lower terrace and 4 on the upper terrace. There are 4 sunloungers and the upper terraces have incredible sea views.

The property is suitable for all. Car hire is recommended and the property is based over 3 levels which may be difficult for children or elderly guests.
Local activities in and around Duquesa, Costa del Sol - Malaga
Resort facilities - Residencia la Borboleta boasts one of the largest garden and pools for a development of its size. The pool is 300m2 and ideal for both serious swimmers, cooling off and playing in the pool. There is a seperate childrens pool (the water is approximatly knee height). The gardens have direct access to the beach. From the gardens and the pool there are incredible sea and beach views. The community also has a Paddle Tennis court (racquets not provided). The community is gated and secure. A lifeguard is employed during July and August only.
Beach - The beach can be accessed from the communal gardens, here you will also find a "Churinguito" which is a traditional Spanish beach bar serving fresh sea food and full bar facilities (closed during the winter months). There are also sunloungers and sun shades for churinguito clients.
Golf - The nearest golf course is La Duquesa Golf which is approximately a 5 minute car drive away. Exceptional courses including Valderama, La Reserva, Almenara, Sotogrande, Doña Julia and Finca Cortesin are all within a 20 minute car drive.
Bars and Restaurants & Shops - There are limted but excellent dining options all within walking distance of the property including the Churinguito beach bar, the fantastic "San Raphael" Spanish restaurant and the Schooner Bar - Restaurant which serves excellent typical bar and restaurant menus. Shops and other bars and restaurants can be found in abundance in Puerto Duquesa Marina which is a 5 minute car drive or 30 minute walk along the beach.
Travel - There is easy access to the dual carriage way which runs along the Costa del Sol. There is a bus stop outside the development although the time table is limited and especially in the winter months.
Further afield - There are 2 water parks, Swelo adventure park, the Zoo and numerous marinas and Andalucian white villages to visit all within a maximum 40 minute car drive.
Directions are given to guests at the time of booking. All guests are met at the Barrington Holidays office which on Avenida Miraflores in Sabinillas. This is just a 5 minute drive from this property.
