Overlooking beautiful Lake of Bolsena, close to Orvieto, amidst rolling, green Umbrian hills, we welcome you to a taste of luxurious country life. Surrounded by ancient Acacia trees and beautiful gardens stands our lovely 18th century stone farmhouse with private pool. Luxuriously renovated it offers all comforts.
Spacious bedrooms with ensuite facilities and french windows opening onto the gardens, large fireplaces, original terracotta floors, wooden beams and ceilings and sunny colours. Peace and silence, stunning lake views. 600 metres above sea level the climate is cool and breezy even in the hottest months.
Inside the property are our private stables with competition horses and ponies. We are happy to give lessons to our guests or take them on hacks. A pony riding holiday for your children, the adults will be free to enjoy, with all the many attractions this beautiful part of Italy offers.

Inside this grand Farmhouse on the ground floor there is a perfectly equipped, spacious, sunny kitchen in bright colours that seats 8/10 people, a study with a fireplace, desk and french windows that look out onto the garden and also a large sitting room with a fireplace, sofas and french windows. We have a large beautiful dining/sitting room which has lovely vaulted ceilings original stone flooring and a fireplace.
There is a Double bedroom with wide windows overlooking the garden and with garden access and also an ensuite bathroom with shower. This is Accessible to the disabled. On the first floor (which is also partially accessible from the upper area of the gardens) we have: A beautiful master bedroom with panoramic view of the lake, ensuite changingroom/wardrobe, spacious luxurious bathroom in basaltic rock with view of the lake, double Jacuzzi and wide shower.
A pretty double bedroom with sleeping gallery, a spacious bathroom with lovely shower. The “blue suite” which has 1 double bed on the ground floor and wooden loft with 3 single beds (childrens great favourite!), ensuite bathroom with shower and French windows. The “pink suite” which has 2 twin beds (which can be used as sofas) on the ground floor and double bed on the loft and ensuite bathroom with shower.
The house is set in beautiful English Cottage Style gardens with outdoor furniture and large basaltic stone table with benches under the pergola to dine outside. The swimming pool is equipped with sun beds, large umbrella and table with chairs. Outside there is an original wood burning oven for pizzas and barbacues.
Owners often live in a separate appartment on the property and are always willing to help guests to enjoy their holiday.

The owner himself is an expert Dressage and Show Jumping rider and trainer of young horses as well as a well known Federal Instructor and Dressage Judge, also his wife and daughter compete at National level. If you choose you will have the chance to improve your riding in one of the Dressage and Show Jumping clinics we organize or simply to enjoy the beautiful Italian countryside with its endless sunflower fields and its breathtaking lake views on horseback.
