Enjoying a superb view of the lake, the apartment is blessed with an idyllic position in the rustic village of Mezegra, famous not only for it's sunny position along the lake but for the capture of Musolini more than 60 years ago! Mezegra is ideally placed to explore all parts of the lake with Villa Carlotta less than 5 minutes north, with its acres of majestic gardens and Villa Balbianello (Casino Royale, James Bond 2006) 5 minutes south next to the beautiful lido beach. Bellagio can be accessed across the lake from nearby Cadernabbia. Overall, the emphasis on life in the lake is a little dolce vita for the mind (the relaxed atmosphere), the heart (people never fail to fall in love with 22 miles of pool, blue lake water)and soul (the food, wine and welcoming locals sees to that!)Be warned, once Lake Como ensares you , it has you for life!
