Folly Cottage is a beautifully restored cottage with the interior fitted to an excellent modern standard but much character retained. It sleeps 8 adults comfortably in 4 bedrooms. It is in the heart of Wadebridge a picturesque market town on the Camel river, within 5 miles of the stunning North Cornish Coast with its sandy beaches, wonderful scenery and fabuluous surfing. It is half an hour from the world famous EDEN PROJECT and provides a great base for exlporing the great gardens of Cornwall. It is within 5 minutes of the Camel trail a 25 mile flat, traffic free route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders that follows the estuary to Padstow (home of Rick Steins renowned Sea Food Restaurant).
The other side of the river is home to the championship golf course at St Enodoc is only 10 miles away and the short 9 hole course at St Kew which is kinder for beginners. Good pubs, restaurants, boutiques and excellent pasties in Wadebridge make this a location that is hard to beat.

Folly Cottage provides a great base for 8 people and works well for families and couples alike. The cottage is bright and immaculate combining all modern conveniences with character features in a stylish and airy design. The town centre is in easy walking distance and provides plenty of evening eating opportunities without a drive home.
The large open plan sitting room has large comfy sofas, a stone fireplace with wood burning stove and overhead beams. This leads on to the dining area that opens onto a safe enclosed courtyard through french windows. The shake style kitchen is fully fitted and there is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The downstairs shower room has powershower, wc and sink. There is an integral garage.
Upstairs the large hallway leads onto the master double room (the yellow room), twin bedroom 1 (the sea shore room), twin bedroom 2 (the beach room) and the double bedroom (the floral room). The main bathroom has luxury bath, power shower, wc and sink. All bed linen is provided and changed weekly.
No towels are provided so please bring your own towels and beach towels. Facilities include:- Central heating throughout, all gas and electricity included, wood burning stove, TV, DVD, CD player/ Radio, Gashob, electric fan oven, microwave oven, Dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironong faclities, hairdryer, Bed linen. Please note no baby's cot available but plenty of space for your own. No dogs or other anilmals except by prior arrangement. Smoking not permitted.

The Eden Project and the lost Gardens of Heligan are once in a lifetime must see destinantions that are within an easy drive.
Wadebridge is a market town just a five mile drive from the beautiful North Cornish Coast with its sandy beaches and wonderful scenery. The Camel Trail runs from Bodmin to Padstow through the town and provides a safe traffic free route with spectatular views and wildlife for walkers, cyclists and riders.
The town has a great kids park, library, cinema, tennis courts, good traditional pubs and many small individual shops.
Tescos are also just outside town for routine essentials.
Lessons in surfing, sailing, canoeing and golf are all bookable within a ten mile radius
Padstow provides a picturesque harbour and renowned restuarants while Nequay 10 miles away boasts some of the best surf and night life in the UK.
Cornwall has the heritage of King Arthur and many attractions that provide a warm welcome for visitors.
Flights into Newqauy airport are now regular and reliable and the train route into Paddington stops at Bodmin Parkway.
Take the A30 to Bodmin then A389 to Wadebridge. Travel into town turning left over bridge. Turn right at the mini roundabout then left at next roundabout. Cottage on Right after 200 yds.
