The villa is located in Penstowe Holiday village in Kilkhampton. It is a short drive to the safe, sandy and surfing beaches and the North Cornwall coastal path. The Tamar Lakes, fishing, watersports, riding, golf; sports activities; theme parks are all in the locality. Restaurant, bars, outdoor swimming pool and recreation facilities on site. You can also join the Penstowe Leisure Club for the duration of your stay (additional charge of £50.00)which will enable you to use the indoor swimming pool, squash tennis and badminton courts and all their other facilities. It has been awarded 3 stars by the Visit Britain Quality Assurance Scheme.
The villa is brick built, semi-detached and completely self–contained. It is heated by a mixture of overnight storage heaters (cost included) and electric heaters (payment by meter). It has its own patio, with picnic bench, within a walled and grassed area. It is situated about 500 yards (460 metres) from the main facilities based at the Manor House and there are car parking spaces immediately opposite.

Local activities in and around Bude, South West
Kilkhampton with its places of worship, including the historic church of St. James, village pubs (2), fish and chip shop, pizza/internet cafe,Spar and Londis stores (both of which stock fresh locally baked bread), post office and butcher, is about half a mile away. There is a Chinese takeaway on the vilage outskirts. Killock Farm providing local produce is just outside the village. The nearest R C Church is in Bude.
It is about two miles to the nearest safe surfing and swimming beach at Sandymouth Bay. Bude is only a fifteen minute drive. (Bude 6 miles; (Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches) Widemouth 7 miles - distances approximate.) All beaches have lifeguard cover in the holiday season
There are four 18 hole golf courses nearby (Bude & North Cornwall. Holsworthy, Launceston and Trethorne) and Ivyleaf 9 hole course and covered driving range is within a five minute drive.
The on site indoor sports facilities, including indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, table tennis, pool, squash, badminton, indoor bowls and tennis court, organised entertainment and children’s supervised activities (in holiday seasons) - availale to members only. The Cornish Coastal Route, sandy beaches, scenic country walks, sea and lake fishing and horse-riding are all available nearby. The Cornish Way Cycle route runs alongside the Bude Canal.
Kilkhampton provides easy road access to Bodmin Moor (Jamaica Inn), Tintagel, the legendary home of King Arthur, Morwenstow where the Reverend Hawker wrote the words to “Trelawny”, Boscastle and other unspoilt fishing villages on the North Cornish coast. For those who wish to travel a little further, the world famous Eden Project is less than 50 miles away from the villa.
There is also close car access to a wealth of themed parks where the children can have fun.
The location is ideal for either relaxing on the beach or in the countryside, or for a more active holiday.
M5/A316 via Barnstaple. or M5/A30 via Exeter. or A303/A30 via Exeter. Penstowe is on the A39 immediately south of Kilkhampton. Villanostra, 2 Spanish villas is on the right about 150 yds in.
