The cottage is located on three floors: ground floor, lower ground floor and upper floor. You come into the ground floor from the street. A sitting room with TV is located at the front of the cottage. At the back there is a second sitting room with piano and windows overlooking the garden. Stairs lead from this room down to the lower ground floor where the spacious kitchen/dining room is located. Access to the garden is from this room. The two bedroms and bathroom are located on the upper floor. The front bedroom has a 4`6" double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table. The window provides a view of Walmer Strand and the beach with fishing boats and the sea. The back bedroom has a 4'0" bed, wardrobe and small bureau and looks onto the garden.

Local activities in and around Deal, South East
Deal is an excellent place for a relaxing holiday, especially for those who like walking along the coast. It is possible to walk along the coastal path from Deal to Dover or to Ramsgate. There are numerous excellent golf courses nearby including Sandwich where the British Open was held in 2003, Kingsdown, ideal for less ambitious golfers, or pay and play courses near Ramsgate. Other sporting activities available are horse riding, fishing from the pier, fishing from fishing boats, sailing and windsurfing. Deal itself is well known for its historic places of interest such as Deal Castle (founded by Henry VIII) and Walmer Castle, both of which are a walk away from the cottage and well worth visting. Deal is also a good centre for making excursions into Kent. Canterbury, Sandwich, Ramsgate, Margate and Dover are all within easy reach.
Coming from Dover to Deal you reach Walmer Strand and turn left into Wollaston Road opposite the Life Boat Station. The cottage is facing you in Campbell Road at the end of Wollaston Road.
