Standing just above Cadgwith Cove is a row of attractive terraced Coastguard cottages, built in the 1880s to combat smuggling.. Seawatch has now been converted into a beautiful and tastefully furnished house, with the compulsorily sea views that the coastguard needed.. The house enjoys a long, south-facing garden and although you won’t want to leave; there are all the delights of Cadgwith and Cornwall on your doorstep. Wander down into the cove and experience the conviviality of the Cadgwith Cove Inn or visit the Old Cellar’s Restaurant. Home made doughnuts, fresh crab sandwiches and fresh seafood make this a very attractive place to sit. It really is a magical place to stay and with so many places to visit nearby you will definitely want to come again!

Rental Notes: The Lizard peninsula, the most southerly part of mainland Britain, might have been deliberately designed as an ideal holiday destination. Within just a few square miles it offers sandy beaches, spectacular cliff walks, unspoiled fishing coves, thickly-wooded creeks and inlets, rolling farmland and a wide expanse of open moorland.
The climate is mild and frost is rare. Daffodils flower as a commercial crop in January and the cliffs and hedgerows are ablaze with wild flowers from February to June. There are spells in October and November as warm as any in midsummer.
Our small agency started over 10 years ago with just a few cottages in Cadgwith, our home base. Our aim has always been to offer a friendly, personal, local service to all our visitors. We have expanded steadily ever since and now offer cottages all around the peninsula.
