One bedroom traditional style cottage eco friendly in a rural agricultural sitting in East Cork where the first sounds you hear on waking in the morning are the birds singing or the cows grazing nearby.

This one bedroom cottage has a double bed in the bedroom with oak flooring . The modern kitchen has all the appliances, with a kitchen table to seat 4 , slate floors, wood burning stove. The ceilings in the kitchen area are high vaulted ceilings which make the most of the light & the evening sunshine. Two reclining leather seats for watching Tv or relaxing . The bathroom has heated towel rail & pumped shower. There is also a washing machine & dryer with water coming from a natural well on the site. 10 golf courses with in a 15 mile radius as well as salmon & trout fishing on the Blackwater & Funcheon rivers. Wifi available if you need to bring your lap top.
Solar panel has been added recently to harness the suns energy for hot water .
Oil central heating for winter time to keep it cosy and solar panels heat the hot water when the sun is shining . Payphone available in the cottage.
With solar panels for hot water , spring water from a well on site , composting & recycling of all waste , with free range hens to the rear of the cottage where free range eggs are available ( when they are laying) makes this an eco friendly property.
Euro 100.00 per night minimum stay 2 nights Weekly Euro 350.00.
