Privately-owned timber lodge, recently renovated (in June 2007) to the highest standard.
It is set within the Hunter's Quay Holiday Village - a beautifully-landscaped park right next to the Holy Loch. It nestles amongst some of the most glorious scenery in Scotland, and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the splendour of Argyll.
This lovely lodge has two bedrooms (one double, one twin). The lounge/diner contains an LCD television with Freeview, a DVD player and a hi-fi. I have provided DVDs, CDs, books and games - as well as a sewing box and First Aid kit in case of mishaps! You will also find an iron & ironing-board, as well as a hairdryer. There are electric wall heaters throughout the lodge. The electric meter will have at least £20 credit in it at the start of your holiday, and, if required, further electricity can be purchased with the use of a pre-payment key.
I have installed a brand new, luxury shower room with large corner shower and vanity unit. The kitchen has been fitted with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric hob and combined microwave/convection oven - as well as every utensil you could possibly need. All bed linen is provided - and your beds will be made up and ready for you on your arrival. The only thing you will need to bring is towels.
Outside, there is a huge deck, covering more than three-quarters of the lodge perimeter - with table and chairs, as well as two large benches - from where you may well spot a red squirrel or deer. Hunter's Quay is a quiet holiday village, but does have a social club, restaurant, shop and launderette. For a small additional charge, you can make use of the swimming pool, badminton court, putting green, children's soft-play area, gymnasium, jacuzzi and many other facilities.
Nearby, you can indulge in Quad Biking, Rock Climbing & Abseiling, Golf, Fishing, Pony Trekking, Kayaking, Sailing and Wind Surfing - as well as hill-walking. I manage my lodge personally, and will greet you on your arrival, take you to your accommodation, and then leave you to enjoy a perfect holiday.
