The views from our villa are acclaimed as the best in Crete. The terrace overlooks the only fresh water lake on the island; the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean are to our right; and majestic mountain peaks to our left. It’s all here waiting for you to enjoy.
Soak up the views or soak yourself in the lake’s cool, crystal waters. You won’t regret it. Or if it’s sun, sea and sand you’re looking for, there are the nearby life-guarded beaches of Georgioupolis. Or use the villa, located between Rethymnon and Chania in the foothills of Crete’s White Mountains, as your base for an energetic hiking or cycling day out in the mountains. When you’re ready to wine and dine, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Tavernas abound around the lake as well as in Georgioupolis. Or if you do not want to stray too far, there’s a family taverna just 50m from the villa that specialises in Cretan food and, of course, it overlooks the lake.
A large modern villa for six to seven people with open plan living and high wooden ceilings with a large balcony overlooking the lake, sea and mountains. Downstaire there are three double bedrooms with one en-suite and a large family bathroom. The Villa is fully equipped with Air-Conditioning and Fly-Screens in all rooms.
