If walking, it's only a couple of minutes to the gondola. Restaurants, bars and the picturesque centre of the lovely old town of Bansko also within walkng distance. Free on site facilities include indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and Gym. Cafe by the pool and 4 shops all within the ground floor.

The apartment accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, one double bedded room with en-suite shower, the other bedroom with twin beds & one folding bed. A folding cot is also provided for babies. It is furnished to a high standard with a fully equipped kitchen and central heating providing a cosy and comfortable stay.
Situated on the third floor with lift access. Large windows & two balconies offer lovely south facing mountain views.

Local activities in and around Bansko, West and Mountains
Bansko town is full of charm and culture with narrow cobbled streets, stone houses, 120 monuments, museums and permanent ethnographic exhibitions. There is plenty to entertain all ages in and around Bansko. For après ski the traditional Bansko tavern ("Mehana"), with their exceptional charm and style offer local atmosphere with their cuisine and good selection of Bulgarian wines. Most of the local "Mehanas" even offer live folk music. A visit or two to these is a must!
In winter the skiing conditions are excellent with the Pirin Mountain being predominantly Alpine in character with 3 peaks towering above 2900m. Bansko is Bulgaria's number 1 ski resort, having the best and most modern ski centre of all Bulgarian ski resorts. It also has the best snow record and the longest ski season (15 Dec - 15 April) of all Bulgarian ski resorts. The slopes offer runs for all types of skier from novice to expert. There are 14 pistes totalling 65km including a 16km run plus cross country and off piste skiing.
The snowboard lovers can enjoy the first of the Balkan fun parks. They can build jumps suiting their taste and abilities. The resort also has an excellent ski school and hire facilities. There are also many shops providing opportunities to purchase new equipment at very reasonable prices.
In summer hiking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding are popular. A brand new golf course just 3 km away will be finished shortly. Local companies organise trips in the mountains including mountain bike hire, white water rafting, canoeing and paragliding. The town hosts a week long jazz festival and other events.
Other places of interest are the Bear reserve and the beautiful Rila Monastery, all within easy driving distance.
