19 Pirin Place is a one bedroom apartment in an apartment block which can now boast it has the shortest walk to the ski lift….literally seconds! No more lengthy tiresome walks in your ski boots!
This superb apartment is situated on the third floor of Pirin Place. It has a lovely bay window, and has nice views from the living room to the cable car station just seconds away. The apartment is very well equipped to a luxury standard throughout and will sleep a maximum of 5 people. Wireless Internet is available from the bedroom table.
Bansko also has plenty to offer in Spring and Summer too, it sits at the foot of the Pirin Mountains and has lots of interesting trails for hiking, mountain biking, horse-riding, fishing and hunting. For the more adventurous there is also paragliding and guides can be hired locally.
The apartment consists of a hallway, living area with sofa/bed, arm chair/bed, TV/DVD/CD/Satellite TV, deluxe fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar, bedroom with double bed, side tables and wardrobe, bathroom with shower cubicle, dining area with oak table and 4 chairs, full electric central heating and balcony.
The apartment has wi-fi internet.
Pirin Place consists of dedicated ski locker in basement, sauna and gymnasium....and most importantly is now the closest apartment block to the ski lifts - just 50m walk.
There are two very new pistes, and for extreme skiers there is the fun park zone. One of the pistes connects Platoto with the Jelezen area and the other is from Kolarski to Banderishka Polyana. There is also a new 7 kilometers long (floodlit) ski road between Banderishka Polyana and the town. This means you can leisurely ski all the way from the upper Gondola station all the way back to the town to only a few metres from the Pirin Place apartment! Dropping in to Happy End for a hot wine of course.
Apres ski: The unique combination of a well developed mountain resort and the historical town of Bansko turns it into a super, quite enchanting place for entertainment. Virtually every house has its own story to tell, which indeed can turn your vacation into a journey in to the
Bulgarian traditions. The traditional Bansko taverns (called "Mehana"), with their exceptional charm and style offer local atmosphere by their cuisine and good selection of Bulgarian wines. Most of the local "Mehanas" even offer live folk music. Discos and nightclubs go on to the early hours for those who have the energy after riding the slopes all day.
Probably the best Apres Ski venue is the HAPPY END which is conveniently next to the Gondola and a very short, staggering distance from the Pirin Place apartment!
Enjoy hot toddies or a great meal and then later (if you have the staying power), dance the night away or listen to great music from the live band.

Local activities in and around Bansko, West and Mountains
With around 40 Mehanas, hotel restaurants and street cafés, there are a wide range of places to eat within a few minutes walking distance of the apartment. All Mehanas serve traditional Bulgarian cuisine and a selection of house wines. Many of the wines are made in the Mehana, and will come straight from the barrel. Some of our favourites are the Italian restaurant situated opposite the gondola station.
Clubs: At the end of the day, for a truly happy ending, the Happy End restaurant by the Gondola base station turns into a night club whose lively atmosphere is only rivalled by the Amnesia club in the centre of town. Other clubs, such as the Night Club in hotel Pirin, the Karaoke Bar in hotel Bansko, the Buddha Bar club and Club No Name, add up a modern flavour to this town. Club no name on the Tsar Simeon costs 3 Leva entrance fee (about £1) and opens from 10pm right through to 4am in the morning.
Casino: Bansko has two casinos, both within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. Here you can play all of the usual one-arm bandits, roulette, blackjack, poker etc. The Gold club is on your right hand side as you head down Pirin towards the town square. The other is beside the Strazhite hotel and ten-pin bowling.
The newly opened outdoor Ice Rink is a few minutes walk from the apartment.
The ten pin bowling complex also provides various arcade machines, pool tables, a café and bar. Ideal for families and those still suffering from the night before. It is situated about 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
Nightly entertainment can be found in many of the Mehanas and usually consists of live traditional Bulgarian music and dance creating a real party atmosphere. Don’t worry, participation isn’t compulsory, but after a few rakiyas, you will find it hard to resist.
