Beautiful slate terracced cottage located in the centre of Bowness, within 5 mins walk to Lake Windermere.
The cottage has recently been restored to a very high standard, and has many original features, which include the original slate fireplace. A few modern touches have been added, which include a beautiful travertine floor in the lounge area. This cottage has a balanced mix of old and new, and has a very homely atmosphere. Don't miss out on this one!

Bay Tree cottage has been restored with love and care, and has a luxury feel, but still retaining a cosy and warm atmosphere, that one would expect from the Lakes. The lounge has the original slate fireplace with log burner, and the dining room is spacious, with a beautiful stone dining table. The kitchen has the original stone floor, but still has all the modern conveiniences that you need whilst on holiday. Upstairs will not disappoint you either, as the bedrooms are reminisant of a luxury boutique hotel. The master bedroom having an original french metal bed, with sumptuous bedding for those cosy nights. The second double bedroom is also beautifull decorated, and has a light and airy feel.
Outside there is a small courtyard with lavender planting, and seating for 4. The courtyard is south west facing so the sun beams down from lunchtime, creating a real suntrap. This cottage is the sister cottage to Fireside cottage and both cottages will not disappoint. They are both decorated to a very high standard, and are managed with pride.

Windermere lake is only a 5 mins walk from the cottage, where you can hire rowing boats, or go on the organised cruises. There is walking, fishing, golf, everything the lakes has to offer is on your doorstep.
The cottage has a guide for all the local restaurants. There is also shopping for rainy days, and the local cinema. You will never be bored!
When arriving into Bowness, turn right opposite the cinema.

Rental Notes: Bay Tree cottage has a friday change over day. However, saturday change over may be arranged at times. Arrival time is from 3.00pm, and departure is 10.00am. All bed linen and towels are provided. You only need to bring your walking boots.
Cots and high chairs can be arranged with prior notice, so can baby food jars and nappies for a small fee.
