  Our new, first-floor self-catering apartment in the quality Predela complex sleeps 6 + baby and is in a prime location, just up the road from the prestigious Kempinski and around 3-4 minutes’ walk to the main gondola station. It is also within walking distance of the historic old town with its shops, stone houses and cosy taverns.

Smartly furnished, the first-floor apartment offers central heating throughout and air conditioning in the lounge. There are 2 bedrooms - 1 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds (flush-fitting, can be combined to a double). A baby cot is available. The fully fitted bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. A hairdryer is provided. Open-plan living area with well-equipped fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and extractor, fridge and microwave oven. Iron and ironing board provided. The comfortable lounge area has a double sofa bed, chair bed, satellite TV, DVD player (children’s DVDs provided), CD player (selection of CDs provided), extending dining table and chairs for 6 people. Family board games and books provided. Storage room with washing machine within the apartment. Balcony accessible from lounge and both bedrooms.

Bright, south-facing leisure facility. Indoor swimming pool with glass roof structure, Jacuzzi, fitness room, sauna and bar. Towels and bedding provided (please bring own linen for cot). Full clean at end of stay.

We will arrange the handover of keys through our agent in Bansko.

Local activities in and around Bansko, West and Mountains
 
         
The historic town of Bansko is located in the Pirin Mountains. It is an all-seasons resort about 160 km south of Sofia at the foothills of the Pirin National Park with its friendly people and traditions. Bansko’s cobbled streets are steeped in history and culture with traditional stone-built houses and family-run bars and restaurants (mehanas).

The town is a fast-growing mountain resort, widely recognized as the best ski resort in Bulgaria. Bansko offers fantastic value for money with food and drink around one-third of the cost of typical French resorts.

Bansko boasts a long ski season typically running from mid-December until mid-April. Recently the subject of massive investment, it has a state-of the art lift network with new gondola and access to over 70 km of marked pistes with good off-piste opportunities. There are snow canons and the final 7 km run back to the town is floodlit for night skiing. Bansko boasts Bulgaria’s first terrain park with half pipe.

If you prefer cross-country skiing or walking, there are cross-country trails with snow-shoe walks also planned.

The new outdoor ice rink in the town is already very popular.

The perfect place for a skiing holiday, Bansko is also an ideal base for a mountain activity holiday at other times of the year.

Bansko is renowned for hiking, with marked trails throughout the scenic National Park with its beautiful lakes and forests.

Other activities include mountain biking, white water rafting and horse riding nearby in Bechevo. An Ian Woosnam golf course is being developed in the Bansko area and nearby villages offer mineral springs with swimming pools. Other possible excursions include a scenic narrow guage railway, a bear rehabilitation park, the Rila Monastery, the wine-growing area of Melnik and the caves around Smolyan.

In summer Bansko hosts the famous annual Bansko Jazz Festival with numerous other festivals also held throughout the year.

Rental Notes:
Changeover day normally Saturday during high season, but please contact us as depending on other bookings, we can be flexible at all times of the year to enable you to take advantage of cheaper flights on other days.

We are in contact with other owners in the complex so can help arrange accommodation for larger groups. For daytime arrivals, our agent will meet you and show you round the apartment, and be there to assist you during your stay.

Rental includes a full clean at the end of your stay.

For key weeks (Christmas/New Year, Feb. half-term) we request a 50% deposit. For all other bookings a 30% deposit. Balance payable 8 weeks in advance. A £100 security deposit is payable to our agent on arrival. This will be returned to you at the end of your stay provided everything is in order.
