Quiet, private four-bedroom villa with pool, sleeping up to ten, on the edge of a quaint mountain village in the breathtaking Vall de Gallinera. Stunning views and a beautiful country location, a pretty half-hour drive from some of the most unspoiled beaches of the Costa Blanca, still within easy reach of Oliva, Denia and Javea. A wonderful location for a summer family holiday, or for walkers and nature lovers out of season.
The house is nearly at the end of a narrow village street, on the corner of a small country road. Wrought iron gates lead into the private garden and side terrace. Downstairs there is a sitting/dining room with formal dining for 6, leather sofas, a fire and satelilite television, opening out onto a covered terrace, outdoor eating area and pool. The kitchen is newly appointed and also has an adjacent eating area. There is a study with a double sofa bed next to a shower room. Upstairs there are two double and two twin bedrooms, and a newly fitted bathroom. The property has airconditioning, central heating, ceiling fans, satellite TV. Outdoors, there is a lot of shady terrace to enjoy the valley breeze in August, with shaded table and chairs. There is another outdoor eating setting in the sun next to the pool, plus an outdoor kitchen and BBQ, and sunbathing areas. The garden screens onlookers and provides a pretty foreground to the mountain view. The laundry facilities are in a separate small building outside.
The whole property is clean, newly decorated, well appointed and comfortable, owned by a family who have been holidaying in their own home in Spain, with their children and friends, for many years. It is safe for children (pool alarm, stairgate, etc.).
The villa is situated on the edge of the village of Beniali, within easy reach of three or four restaurant/bars, a pharmacy and an ATM. The Gallinera valley is on the road from Pego to Cocentaina and Alcoy, and is known for its beautiful scenery, fine food and picturesque Moorish villages.
The closest beaches lie between Oliva and Denia. Owners of holiday houses in the valley often spend the day at the coast, coming home to late dinner outside in one of the village restaurants.
The village itself is one of eight in the valley, all about a mile apart. The closest baker is in the next village up, the closest shop in the following oneagain. Supermarkets are in Pego, a twenty-minute drive away.

Seating for 6. There are at least 3 different eating areas with possibilities for combining to cater for larger groups. The main outdoor table seats eight; there is an extra table and chairs. Diningroom seats 6.

The house includes stairs. Although the site itself is flat, the road is on a hill which might prove difficult for someone with limited mobility. Children are welcome and fully catered for.

One and a half hours from Valencia or Alicante airports, following the AP7 to the Denia or Oliva exits, then signposts to Pego and Alcoy to the village of Beniali. We will send further directions.
