Since 1976 the Matheson Family have welcomed visitors to Na Tighean Beaga, our comfortable self catering bungalows and chalets in Roy Bridge, near Fort William The experience we have gained over the years will ensure a successful and enjoyable holiday for everyone in your family or party.
Some 300 metres from the village centre, our site is set amid heath and silver birch with views over Glen Spean to the Nevis Mountain Range.
A woodland area of some 15 acres is ideal for an evening stroll or where children can play. There are a variety of wildflowers and plants such as primroses and orchids. Wildlife is also diverse with birds such as chaffinch and buzzards are commonplace and occasionally roe deer can be seen browsing close to the accommodation.
Annually inspected by the Scottish Tourist Board, our bungalows are graded Two Star The bungalows are spaced in groups of 3, 4 and 5 units about 100 metres apart and there is sufficient parking space for two cars adjacent to the accommodation.
All units are fully insulated with heating in all rooms, double-glazed, and are intended to provide comfortable and practical accommodation for up to 4 persons.
Type "A", our smallest unit, is ideally suited for couples or a four-person family. There is a livingroom/dining room with kitchen recess, two small bedrooms and two units with bathrooms and one with shower room.
Types "B" and "C", have two larger bedrooms, livingroom and kitchenette/dining room. Type "B" has shower only and type "C" has a shower over a bath.
All units are equipped to a standard above the Scottish Tourist Board minimum requirements. This includes T.V., cooker, fridge, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner, iron, crockery, cutlery etc

Roy Bridge is an ideal centre for touring the Highlands with much to see and do within a two-hour leisurely drive - Inverness, Aviemore, Oban and Skye are all about 100Km away.
The scenery is spectacular with mountains and lochs predominating. The seasons change from bleak winter with snow covered peaks, the fresh green of the newly formed leaves in early May, the purple heather clad hills at their finest in August/September to the rich gold colours of autumn.
Locally you can visit the Ben Nevis Distillery, Mallaig Marine World, National Trust Properties at Glencoe and Glenfinnan, Treasures of the Earth Exhibition, several Museums, Cinema and Leisure Centres.
Perhaps you would like an Island Boat Trip, a Gondola Ride on Aonach Mor, one of the many Mini-bus Tours or a Steam Train Journey on the West Highland Line.
Slightly further away is the Landmark Centre at Carrbridge, Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig, Waltzing Waters at Newtownmore and the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition at Drumnadrochit.
Winter skiing may be available, weather permitting, at Nevis Range (15Km) which is Scotland’s newest centre with some of the best facilities. Glencoe (60Km) and Cairngorm (85Km) centres are driveable alternatives.
Tuition in skiing, fly fishing and guided mountaineering is available locally.
