The Eagles Nest - Stunning Sea Views in a beautifully renovated home
House with Sleeps 6, Garden
The Eagles Nest is setting another new and superior standard by which the quality, presentation and design of holiday homes in the beautiful South Western corner of Ireland will be measured.
Extensive renovation and modernization was completed on the Eagles Nest in early July 2007. From the outset of this project, the final goal was to produce a high quality, residence which encompassed everything and more that the holiday maker with a discerning taste would appreciate.

Elegant, stylish yet traditionally Irish
Living area, open plan, modern and comfortable
Fully integrated, state of the art kitchen
Master Bedroom
Bedroom two
The living room is without doubt a feature of the Eagles Nest. A large vaulted ceiling with three large windows and a 3.5 metre sliding door provide natural lighting from all directions. Views from these large glass panels sweep spectacularly over the Atlantic Ocean, the expansive cliffs protecting the Irish coastline from its often wild and spectacular waters, ancient islands scattered along the coast, the secluded and tranquil harbour of Tragumna Bay with its Blue Flag Beach and then further inland to the rolling mountains and hills of Irelands famous West Cork scenery. Indeed, taking this in with your first morning coffee will have you convinced there is no need to leave the home to see more of Ireland!
A large stone feature wall inside the living room, with an inlaid LCD Television CD/DVD player, sat TV, a large leather couch and a cosy multi fuel fireplace, all tastefully selected and set amongst other carefully selected pieces of imported furniture will leave you wanting nothing as you relax in your home. The kitchen was completely replaced in the modernization project, the end result is a fully equipped, state of the art cooking environment comprising of ivory coloured cabinetry, a hardwood teak worktop with integrated appliances, a large fridge/freezer with integrated ice dispenser and cold water tap, a 5 ring gas stove top and chrome appliances.
Stretching out of the living room and two of the bedrooms, is a massive decking which provides an even more stunning vista. Over 180 degrees of breathtaking scenery. The elevation of the outdoor decking is such, it leaves the observer with a feeling of floating over the marvellous landscape, across the rolling green hills, the towering cliff faces and the Atlantic Ocean. The yard is expansive and regrassed, surrounded by high hedges offering seclusion and privacy without impeding the stunning vistas.
