This two bedroom second-floor apartment can be accessed by lift or stairs and is on a corner spot with un spoiled views of the mountain and golf coures and beautiful surounding area and is furnished to high standard. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. The spacious entrance hall provides ample room for coats, shoes and luggage. Doors lead from the hall to the lounge, to both bedroom and shower room. Brand new 1 bedroom apartment is in the same block and sleeps 4 Located on the ground floor and has a garden.
The lounge's have a comfortable sofa bed which provide extra sleeping, if required. French doors from the lounge open onto a balcony with views of the mountains. Cable TV is available. Use of the swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and fitness room within the complex are free. Outside the one bed room apartment there is a pleasant garden with barbecue available for the use to all guests. There is a Sony playstation 2 in both apartments with some games & 1 controler.

Local activities in & around Bansko: The historic town of Bansko is located in the Pirin Mountains.It is an all seasons resort about 160 Km south of Sofia at the foothills of the Pirin National Park. Bansko boasts a long ski season running from mid December until mid April. The town
The town of Bansko is located at 925 m. above sea level, and its skiing area is on 2000-2500 m above sea level. Bansko is the all new Bulgarian ski resort, recently discovered by the foreign skiers and tourists, but well known in Bulgaria. Bansko provides a superb combination of virgin nature of The Pirin Mountain with state of the art ski lifts and a well planned ski area, whilst still retaining the atmosphere of the ancient Bulgarian small town. Bansko is not only a resort but also a beautiful historic spot. Bansko ski resort is situated in South-Western Bulgaria at the foot hills of one of the beautiful Bulgarian mountain Pirin. South of Bansko is where the Pirin National Park is situated. It is included in the UN List of National Parks and Reservations and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park covers over 27,400 ha and is famous for its lakes, waterfalls, caves, century-old trees and historical sites. The jagged mountains, include 70 glacial lakes scattered throughout.
Summer months
In summer hiking and climbing are popular, with well signed routes and hikers' chalets. Mountain bikes can be hired locally in order to explore this beautiful region. Local companies can organise trips in the mountains e.g. white water rafting, canoeing, paragliding. Also in summer the town hosts a week long jazz festival and other events. This is also a great base for historical sightseeing e.g. the famous Rila Monastery. The area is rich in historical remains, from ancient burial mounds to Roman amphitheatres (car required). Many traditional villages are in the area, some of which give the chance to see displays such as traditional dancing, folklore events and bag pipe playing. For après ski the traditional Bansko taverns (called 'Mehana'), with their exceptional charm and style offer local atmosphere by their cuisine and good selection of Bulgarian wines. As the cost of living is very cheap in Bulgaria, your money will go several times further here than in skiing resorts in other parts of Europe.

Bansko is the newest and the most rapidly developing ski resorts in Bulgaria. 40 million Euros have been invested, to create a top rate facility with the best equipment, including a new gondola, snow guns, electronic ski pass system etc. There are 14 pistes totalling 65km, including a 16 km run plus cross country and excellent off piste skiing. Bansko is ideal for beginners and there are English speaking instructors at the ski school. For intermediates the ski area is fantastic with fabulous views and many well-maintained wide tree-lined runs. The advanced skiier can try the Alberto Tomba black run, and there is good off-piste available (a guide is recommended).

For Snowboarders there are long tree-lined runs and there is new dedicated snowboarders area with a half-pipe facility 90 metres high by 16 metres wide.

Other local attractions:
Famous for its many mineral hot springs with high therapeutic qualities, the nearby village of Banya, located only 5 km from the town, is a must visit. The healing effects of the thermal springs in these mountains have been famous since antiquity. Pirin Mountains, Pirin National Park encompasses rugged alpine peaks that rise above 8,202ft (2,500m) and more than a hundred glacial lakes spread at their feet. The magnificent landscape is made up of old forests, waterfalls, caves and areas of limestone that are home to the near extinct edelweiss and the Pirin poppy. Characteristic to the park is the abundance of rare and endemic species of plants and animals, and the unique environment is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural and National Heritage site. Holy Trinity Church with its fine belfry and clock tower is famous for its collection of icons and murals painted by local Bansko artists who once made the Bansko School of Painting one of the best in Bulgaria.

Snow conditions in Bansko are good and there are seldom queues even in the height of the season. A multi-million Euro project has recently seen the installation of new lifts, including an eight-person gondola, adding to the popularity of the Bansko ski area. The Ulen Ski and Snowboard School offers good tuition, particularly for children who are cared for at the Ulen Junior Ski Club. In addition to on-piste skiing, skiers and snowboarders are welcome to the fun park in the Platoto area which offers fans of the extreme winter sports the option to ski over artificial bumps and jumps as well as to build those on their own. Also, the half-pipe located by the place where Bansko’s famous snow towers are usually built, offers both skiers and snowboarders an arena to boast their latest tricks. Last but not least, Bansko offers its guests a unique 16-kilometre uninterrupted skiing, starting from Todorka Peak at the highest point of the ski center, all the way to base station of the Gondola.
