Palm Mar is a quiet resort some 10-15 minutes from the South Airport (Reina Sofia) surrounded by nature reserve and the mountain of Guaza which seperates it from the more lively resort of Los Christianos (10 mins by car), there are however ample restaurants and bars to keep you entertained only a minutes walk from the apartment. Fishing is popular here together with snorkeling diving and walking (Jaques Cousteau dived here), and most of Tenerifes Golf courses are within 15 mins drive. There are ample food shops within easy walking distance. English is spoken in local shops and restaurants.
