Semi-rural location in a picturesque village in the foot of Les Monts Lyonnaise. With easy transport links into Lyon city and within walking distance of local ameneties (including pool). Also easy access to Grenoble, Annecy, Chambery (1hr) and Chamonix, Geneve, Avignon (2hrs).
The villa comprises 2 bedrooms, living room, covered terrace, kitchen, utility area shower room and toilet. Access to large orchard garden and off-road parking.
A very beautiful location in the 'Fruit basket of France' with mapped country walks, mountain bike routes and horse riding. Climbing and paragluiding are also possible in the region. In winter the pistes are within 1.5hrs drive and a bus service to the pistes often runs from Lyon centre.

If pets are being brought they must have a pet passport and all current vaccinations. Also type of animal size and temperment must be indicated at time of booking.
Local activities in and around Mornant, Rhone Alps
A very popular region for walking with mapped walks of different levels of difficulty and length. On many routes roman remains and viaducts are to be found. Walks even take you through cherrry, apricot, plum, peach and apple orchards. The village has a very good weekly market with excellent quality produce. Within walking distance is a farmers market open 7days and stocking in season local produce. Mountain biking routes also vary in difficulty and distance and take you through similar terrain to the walks. Road cycling is also popular locally.
There are bus and train links into the city of Lyon where there are many historic features. If requested at the time of booking a private English speaking tour of the old city is possible. Lyon is also acknowledged to be the gastronimic centre of France and the choice of quality restaurants and cafes available could be viewed as testimony to that fact. Shopping is also excellent with the sales in July and Jan being idea for the bargin hunter.
Of course no area of France is complete without it's vinyards and the local wines are good. Most vinyards will accomodate visitors and if this is of interests it may be possible to organise visits to the vinyard before your holiday.
Take the A7 South straight through Lyon take the Pierre-Benite exit. Follow the road signposted for Mornant. Detailed Instructions available on request.
