Sant Mark's flat - Beautifully restored cozy and central apartment

Premiere apartment located just behind Saint Mark’s square. 2 minutes from Saint Marks Square, 10 minutes from Rialto’s bridge. My brother has restored it to go to live in just after his marriage in 2000. I stayed there for the first time this year and I was enthusiastic for the place, the atmosphere and the sensations that this flat is able to give.Ideal to locate three people but able to host up to 4 people.
Located in a quite “calle” (calle della Sacrestia) right in the heart of Venice. You will be amazed and feel privileged to enter the flat from such a hidden street. It is located in the most touristic area of the city but in such a hidden place that tourist don’t go. The flat is organised in two floors. In the lower floor you have the kitchen, living room and bathroom. The two bedrooms are located in the upper floor. A cosy balcony, located beside the kitchen, will let you enjoy dinner al fresco surrounded by ancient’s palaces in an astonishing atmosphere.
The flat is located at the second and third floor of an ancient Palace. Originally my great grandma owned it. The palace hosts some other flats used today only by locals. To reach the property you need to climb a typical Venetian stair.
The flat has been furnished with the loving care of a just married couple therefore you will feel all the positivism and the romantic atmosphere that only lived home have. It has also air conditioning that in the humid summer of Venice is a nice feature. The lower floor is an open space shaped like an L. The kitchen and the living room are close and in touch but positioned in a way that you can enjoy eating in the kitchen without disturbing who is relaxing in the living room. The kitchen is fully furnished and really well equipped. From the kitchen you can access the balcony, which will put you in another age thanks to the ancient surroundings. The living room has a nice sofa, which can be (eventually) opened as a bed. It is equipped with TV, DVD and CD players. Some CD’s are available. A wooden stair, opened in a way you can see the entire lower floor, connects the two floors.
The two bedrooms have ancients’ beams on sight and are separated by an anteroom. Both rooms face from the height of the roof into a nice little street. The quietness you will feel sleeping there is the same as you were in the middle of the country! The double room is spacious with a big wardrobe. The balcony is able to host a table for two. You can dine there enjoing the cool of the evening.

Air Conditioning, House Linen, Towels Provided. You will find the flat perfectly clean and the final cleaning is included in the rent. We usually need to have the flat free by 11 am but we can provide you a place where to leave your belongings.
Dining:
Seating for 6. The dining table is located in the kitchen beside the balcony.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, DVD, Radio, CD System.
Outside:
Balcony. The balcony is a great feature in Venice for both dining al fresco or just relaxing drinking a cup of tea.
