The promenade walk (approximately 2km long) extends from Dorada Beach (Golden Beach) on the East pass the village centre which hosts the smallest of the 3 main beaches, on by the harbour, until you come to the luxurious Timanfaya, and the Playa Flamingo Lagoon, to the West of the village. Along here are many exciting shops, restaurants and bars that offer a wonderful selection of Canarian merchandise and food - particularly seafood.

The Villa has a magnificent heated pool, with the additional benefit of an electronic cover, set within a private garden, that has a wonderful display of tropical plants. Your home is equipped with a mixture of the best of British and traditional Spanish furniture which enhances this beautifully designed property. It has a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom upstairs, plus two twin bedrooms on the poolside lower floor, all presented with quality bedding and matching furnishings.
You will find every modern convenience to hand: sky TV, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, CD equipment, oven & ceramic hob, even smoke alarms. There are two spacious terraces; the upper ocean view with its own outside dining table and chairs, and the other at the lower poolside, ideal to escape the sun yet still enjoy the ambience. Ocean view top terrace is expansive with table and six chairs for day or evening time dining. Poolside lower terrace equipped with four garden chairs with table and six sun loungers.

Casa Hawkeshead is situated about a 15 minute walk to Lagoon/Beach of Playa Flamingo on the west side of Playa Blanca and approximately a 20 minute car ride to the world famous Papagyo Beaches which form part of the National Park of Lanzarote.
Local activities include: cycling, diving, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing and wind-surfing.
Lanzarote is the most northern of the Canaries, and is situated only 95km off the Moroccan coast. Across the Island there are some of natures most spectacular scenery, including Tymanfya National Park that includes Fire Mountain, with its partially active volcano, Mirador de Rio's viewing platform overlooking the small Isle of La Graciosa.
Or you can explore the Caves of Los Verdes with a guide, to look at some of nature’s most awe inspiring sites; one event is worth the admission money alone. In the old capital of Teguise, every Sunday as well as its splendour, there is one of the biggest one day markets you will find, with next to this the town of Nazaret, that hosts it is rumoured Omar Sherif's restaurant that he lost in a card game. The whole structure is quite literately cut into the side of an old Volcano.

Rates shown are based on 4 people: Please add £90.00 per person p/w.
The pool is solar heated all year, and during the summer months, this will be sufficient for swimming in the pool and is included in the prices shown. However during what can be the cooler months. November to end March, we would recommend the electric heating system is switched on, to guarantee 27/28C at all times, which costs an extra £100.00 a week. It is possible to use this additional system all year, if required.
A deposit of £200 per week (non-refundable) is payable on confirmation of booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A Playstation 2 is also available for hire at 30 euros per week (subject to availability). However you must bring your own games and memory cards
