This traditional, old, fisherman's cottage is the 'brother' to Willy Wilcox. It sits on the harbour wall and over the beach. On sunny days, watch from your windows, the boats landing their catches or preparing for sea, as they have done for 100s of years.
Now, one of Cornwall's most popular self catering holiday cottages. It has a large drawing room on the middle floor, with low timber beams, a log fire and formal dining area. 3 bedrooms sleeping 2 - 5. OUT OF SEASON, it is priced for just 2 people with a small charge for extra visitors.
During winter storms, you will be lashed by spray as waves break on the rocks below - imagine you are on the Eddystone Lighthouse. Out of season, the cottage is as popular as during the summer.
There is a shared BBQ terrace at the back of the cottages. A Cornish Cream Tea awaits your arrival.

You will still visit the picturesque fishing villages, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, National Trust properties like Lanhydrock, the Minack Theatre, situated on the rocks overlooking the sea, lead, tin, slate, china clay mines steeped in hard history, Seal and Monkey Sanctuaries, St Michael's Mount, The Tate at St Ives…...
And for a bit of excitement, there’s Flambard’s mighty thunderbolt.
How about the Camel Trail for one of the best cycleways in the country?
Then you can combine a visit to Bodmin Jail, with an afternoon on the mainline steam railway from Bodmin Parkway to Wadebridge (subject to getting bail of course).
