This protected half-timbered villa is located on the edge of the spa resort Bad Sooden, in the Werratal. This tastefully decorated holiday home (approx. 140 m2) is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor and is accessed via a lovingly restored stairway. You will find a piano in the cosy dining room.
Bad Sooden-Allendorf is situated in the heart of Germany, directly on the historical "Fachwerkstraße" (half-timbering street). This pretty town is better known as the "Pearl of the Werratal" and is romantically located between the Thüringer Wald and the "Hohen Meißner" (800m), "the king of the Hessen mountains".
In the romantic alleyways of this pretty old town you will find many cosy wine bars and restaurants.
The direct proximity offers extensive leisure facilities: walking paths in the footsteps of the Grimm brothers, the nature park Meißner, numerous "Kneipp"-facilities along the walking routes, the "Werratal" thermal baths, etc. All the sightseeing places are within easy reach. A few examples: the border museum Sickenberg, the game park Germerode, the Wartburg near Eisenach, the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe with the "Hercules" monument, the university town Göttingen, the kids and leisure park Ziegenhagen and many castles and fortresses within a 30 km radius.
A beautiful hilly landscape, a fairy tale nature... experience a lovely holiday in the pretty Werratal!
