This accommodation is located right in the middle of the town of Reijmerstok, near Gulpen in the green Heuvelland (the ?Hill Country?). It has space for up to 23 people, which can be expanded to a maximum of 43 people for large groups by renting the Schuur next door, a completely separate building.
You will be able to enjoy a beautifully restored half-timbered house with real atmosphere and charm, with all the luxuries our modern age has to offer. If you?re outdoors, you can also choose between an enclosed vestibule filled with morning and midday sun and the garden area with a large terrace on the southwest side, adjacent to the kitchen and dining room. The dining room has a long table, with eighteen chairs and folding doors to the terrace and the garden. There is plenty of parking space on the playground which borders the garden. Reijmerstok is essentially a dry valley where the rainwater is carried off of the plateau to the Gulp Valley. A few pools with drinking water and wells were in fact what caused this small church village to appear.
The half-timbered barn previously stood somewhere else in Reijmerstok, in a blind bend. The beams were numbered and the frame disassembled, and later it found its place here in the square in Reijmerstok, where it now forms a half-open courtyard with another old half-timbered house.
