Bonnehûs is a detached, intimate holiday house in the Frisian town of Ee. It is located between Dokkum and the southern side of the national park of Lauwersmeer. This is a beautiful nature area good for cycling, hiking, sailing and swimming. The old town centre of Ee, with its historical church as the central point, has been built upon a mound which has remained entirely intact.
There are also mooring places for boat cruises in Ee. A visit to the business town of Dokkum, well known from the elfstedentocht (the 11-city skating marathon in Friesland) is certainly recommended. The town centre offers you a great deal in terms of all kinds of nice restaurants and shops.
