These brand new, spacious apartments are located just a 10 minute walk away from the ski gondola and 6-7 minutes from the main shopping street. With indoor heated swimming pool (one side open in the summer), sauna, jacuzzi and steamroom, these facilities are hard to beat. There is also a fitness centre, table tennis table and table football.
This south facing, second floor apartment with fantastic views of the Pirin Mountains, is part of the Top Lodge complex which is situated on the East side of the River Glazne. The complex consists of around 70 apartments housed in three traditional style buildings which frame a large garden complete with barbeque area. It is only a few minutes walk from the nearest bar, at the Glazne.

The apartment, which has ample storage space, consists of a spacious hallway with plenty of room to leave luggage, hang coats etc. It has radiators throughout for winter warmth. Off the hallway is a large living area with a picture window and East facing terrace which catches all the sun in the morning. It overlooks the complex gardens and also gives some lovely views of the Rodopi and Pirin Mountains. The furniture comprises a 3-seater bed settee with two matching armchairs, 21” Satellite tv with 26 channels and a dvd/cd player. There is a dining table with four chairs and a fully fitted kitchen area complete with everything you need. There is a luxury shower room complete with wash handbasin, a spacious shower cubicle and toilet. The bedroom has twin beds which are pushed together but which can be separated, wardrobe, dressing table, hairdryer and ample bed linen, towels etc.
Additional facilities: Ski room to store skis. 24 hour security. English speaking compound manager. shuttle mini-bus to and from the main gondola station. Lift. Washing machine/dryer in communal area.
Transfer time is 2.5 hours, though this is reducing due to major road improvements (160km).

Local activities in and around Bansko, West and Mountains
Bansko has modern ski facilities, such as micro-chipped lift passes and a newly built gondola which takes skiers up to the many slopes which are serviced by a variety of drag and chair lifts. Apres ski is lively in the local taverns with their cozy log fires and lively music. There are also night clubs and a casino.
Bansko is a beautiful mix of old and new. The old centre was founded in the 10th century on the site of an old Thracian settlement. It is described in the ‘lonely planet’ guidebook as “the shiniest jewel in Bulgaria’s tourism crown…a base for top notch skiing and superb hiking in the summer”. There are over a 120 cultural monuments and just as many lively ‘mehanas’ (taverns), which have live music, cheap beer and plenty of atmosphere. It is at the foot of the Pirin National Park with its 1100 species of flora, 102 types of birds and 42 species of mammals.
Bansko plays host to the International Jazz Festival in August each year. The live entertainment takes place in the main pedestrian square with lots of atmosphere, helped along by the local beer, which costs about 40p for half a litre! (Often preceded by a beer festival with live music the week before as well).
Activities: Winter Long season, running from December to April. Ski-ing all abilities catered for: 65kms (17 pistes) of ski runs including a 16km run down to Snowboarding the outskirts of town. Snow cannons, night skiing, Ice skating . Off-piste skiing, biathalon, guided cross country skiing, Non-skiing kintergarden. Snowboarders fun park and half-pipe facility.
At 1st lights in Bansko (just over the R. Glazne) turn right. Straight on at next set of lights, next set turn right again, back over river. Left then 1st right after Glazne Hotel. 50m on right.
