The Domaine du Foulon has 9 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and was subject to a complete renovation in 2005 & 2007. The work preserved the character of this former Maison d'Maitre, but added a touch of 21st Century luxury. 11m heated pool. 16 acres of river-fronted garden. Large living space.
Despite just a 35 minute drive from Nice International airport, Le Foulon could be a million miles from anywhere. Overlooking the Valley of the Wolf, peace and tranquilly come as standard. Nearby are numerous Medieval Villages, where Provencal life has ticked by for Centuries unchanged. And yet the French Riviera, from Cannes to Monaco, and even across the border into Italy, are easily explored from here.
The Estate is dedicated to making your holiday as memorable as possible. From the largest, most comfortable beds draped in the softest Egyptian cotton, to super-powerful showers and large antique roll-top baths, we started with getting the very basics right and then applied the same attention to detail to everything else.
Le Foulon has all the comforts of home, including a warm and friendly atmosphere, and outside of the summer months it is run as a luxurious guesthouse. It's much larger, inside and out, than many villas that cater for a similar number of guests.

5 Double Bedrooms, 4 Twin Bedrooms. 2 have spacious mezzanine levels reached by spiral staircase, with their own lounge areas, with Chaisse Longue and amazing views shared by all rooms. All rooms have en-suite, 4 doubles can be twin bed
Bathrooms:
6 Bathrooms, 3 Showers, 2 Separate WC's. 5 en-suites have roll-top baths. One room has a double shower with 2 heads. All have bundles of hot water supplied at high pressure, no matter how many taps are running.
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The large kitchen is a joy to use. There are 7 gas hobs, 2 big ovens (1 electric/1 gas), an enormous fridge, chest freezer and every utensil, pot, pan and kitchen gadget you could want.
General:
Real Fire, Central Heating, Maid Service, Telephone, House Linen, Towels Provided, Internet Access. There are no Mosquitos here & the nights are cooler than the nearby coast – you’ll sleep like a baby at Le Foulon. Maid service optional.
Dining:
The large dining room has panoramic views and a balcony that looks over the barbecue terrace. Here you'll find another long banqueting table that seats 18 in comfort, as well as a superb bbq.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, Video, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. We have an extensive library, plenty of board games, ball games and a large field in which to play them, even fishing in the river.
Outside:
Private Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. The heated pool overlooks 16 acres of river-fronted countryside, and not a neighbour to be seen. Bliss.

Children Welcome, Not Suitable For Wheelchairs, Suitable For Elderly, Pets Allowed, Smoking Allowed.
Older children will love it here. It's also surprisingly friendly towards the less mobile, with 2 luxurious rooms on the entry level. Smokers welcome, just not inside!
Local activities in and around Vence, Cote d'Azur/Provence
As relaxed or as manic as you like. There is such a variety of sporting activities to be enjoyed around here it's difficult to keep up. From World class paragliding, to category one rock climbs, a view of the Med' from astride a horse to pristine Golf courses that rival any other on the globe (there are 7 within a half hour drive).

The finest quality Egyptian cotton sheets are included in the price, as are soft fluffy towels. Standard change-over day is Saturday, but we can occasionally be flexible with this - please contact us with your requirements.
