A very cosy Provencal cottage overlooks the Canal du Rhone- Sete with its boats and harbour which are right on your doorstep. The medieval town centre of Aigues Mortes is just 5 mins walk with restaurants, cafes and specialist food shops, a wonderfully vibrant atmosphere throughout the year. A short pleasant stroll to the inland harbour with boats and barges including passing boats in front of the cottage. Easily reached from 2 major airports, Montpellier and Nimes are just 25 mins drive. Wifi Internet access at 5 Euros/wk at La Croisade Hotel, 1 minwalk. Also bike hire at 7 Euros/day, 1 min. walk.
Aigues Mortes itself has a privileged position at the confluence of three canals and is just 8 min by road to sandy, Mediterranean beaches. Within its awesome fortress wall. you will find a multitude of stores from art and craft, banks and specialist shops to boulangeries and about 40 restaurants serving local specialities and very fresh fish. Colourful markets on Wednesday and Sunday augment all your needs. Located in the Petite Carmague and adjacent to the Carmargue National Park which can be toured by paddle steamer, by road or on a horse.
Recommended tours include Pont du Gard, Nimes, Arles, St Marie de la Mer and the wonderfully vibrant University town of Montpellier with its exquisite shopping and boulevards.
Our corner property is brand new and fully equipped in 2005, and consists of: Ground floor: Hallway with wardrobe and toilet. Lounge, spacious and tastefully furnished with sofa bed and comfortable lounge chairs. Kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and dining for 6 in the corner. First Floor: 1 double bedroom with built in sliding wardrobe. 1 twin bedroom with built in sliding wardrobe. Bathroom with WC, full lenth bath and vanity unit.
Outside: Front Garden: “Moat style” wooden bridge gives private access to the front door, pathway flanked by two small borders of planting/decking. Back Garden: Our lounge opens via French doors to decked garden bordered by stone wall and fencing. Surrounded by shrubs, with new wood table for 6, parasol and barbecue. Garage with further parking space.
Shared residents pool, fenced and accessed by key only. Large oval pool reserved solely for resident’s use only, with changing rooms, showers and toilets.

Sterling, Euros and US dollar transfers accepted, including internet payments in Sterling.
Long winter lets at £450/mth, electricty charged as used. From Nov to Mar. Additional charge for electrical heating, Feb and March, at 25 Euros/wk, if required.
