  Stunning 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment, offering 90m2 of accommodation. It has officially been rated 4 stars from the Samoens Tourist Office. The apartment sleeps 6/8 and is located within 5 minute's walk, 300m from the historic centre of Samoens and the numerous restaurants, shops, bars, supermarket and banks.

The apartment comprises 2 ensuite double rooms and a further twin mezzanine bedroom (ideal for children or adults wanting a cozy room - equipped with Playstation 2 and games). There is a third family bathroom with a great view from the bath! The living area is extremely light and spacious, offering amazing mountain and alpine views with 2 sets of french doors leading onto your own south facing balcony.

Apartment Moccand guests have shared access to the 4.5m long swim spa. This has 6 seats at one end while the other end has a series of strong jets which supply an adjustable current you can swim against.

  The lounge has a sofa bed, further sofa and seating, satellite TV, Wireless Internet access, DVD's, stereo, music and games. The apartment dining area has a lovely large table with seating comfortably for 8, plus the fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and 4 ring oven.

The apartment is fully self-contained with its own entrance, and is situated on the top two floors of the chalet. There is ample private parking. In winter the free ski bus stops within 50 metres or the main ski lift is a 12 minute walk.

Our complimentary premier service includes meeting at the accommodation with keys and information. Provision of linen and towels with beds made prior to arrival and end of stay cleaning. Welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, bread, ham, juice, bottle of wine. Molton Brown toiletries in each bathroom. This spectacular and beautiful area is protected and hence hasn’t been spoilt by tourism. Samoens has been awarded a ‘Coq d’Or’ for being one of the prettiest villages in France and is the only ski resort classified by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques.

Samoens ski area starts at 1600m. It is part of the Grand Massif ski area, shared with Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt and boasts 265km of piste and one of Europes best sno records.

The area is full of character and charm with stonemasonary and farming at the heart, yet still provides the centre for almost every outdoor activity imaginable.

Based in the stunning valley of the Giffre river, the area provides spectacular scenery including mountain lakes, national parks and botanical gardens plus amazing wildlife. Just minutes up the road at Sixt Fer a Cheval are over a dozen enormous waterfalls. It has a great deal to offer for families and individuals of all ages seeking adventure or alternatively, just sheer relaxation.

There are numerous excellent restaurants, including bistros, gourmet, traditional French Savoyard and Pizzerias. A range of cafes and bars and numerous shops cater for all your needs, many of which are located around the historic square. There are typical French markets, beautiful churches, chocolatiers, health and beauty parlours, cash points, doctors, chemists, a cinema, an ice skating rink, creche, swimming pools in summer, bakeries, supermarkets and everything else you would expect from well equipped mountain resorts. The Tourist Office puts on various entertainments in the village square ranging from kids' events to antique fairs throughout the year.
