The chalet is south facing & enjoys uninterrupted mountain views across alpine meadows, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Designed for the sports enthusiast, when returning from an active day in the mountains, enter the chalet straight into the spacious boot room. Hang your coat in the drying cupboard & place your boots on the boot warmer. A shower to freshen up, with 800 litres of available hot water. Maybe a sauna to sooth aching bones or grab a glass of wine & from the hot tub watch the sun set behind mountains. Fully relaxed, now enjoy a typical Savoyade dinner served at the 12 seater oak dining table & share adventures of the day. Replete, perhaps time for a ‘digestif’ in front of the roaring log fire before sleep beckons with the promise of tomorrow.
Flexible accommodation - the chalet can be hired: as a whole, 300m squared, sleeping up to 24 with 2 spacious lounges and 2 luxury kitchens. This allows large parties the space to spread out with children watching the latest movie in one lounge with the adults having a quiet drink in the other, or as two separate self contained units each sleeping 12. Each unit is divided by a central staircase with lockable doors. Each unit has its own separate access and front door and terrace. Each floor is separated by sound proofed concrete.
It is ideally located in a tranquil village of Le Biot, just 10 minutes drive from the services and amenities of the lively market town of Morzine, one of the key centres of the vast Porte du Soleil ski area, one of the largest inter-connected ski areas in the world. The smaller ski areas of St Jean d’Aulps and Drouzin, ideal for beginners, are even closer.
Relaxation time: Nordic spa and steam room, Jacuzzi spa - situated within an enclosed area of the terrace. Ski equipment storage, Spacious, heated ski and boot room immediately accessible when entering the property (6m x6m).
The Portes du Soleil ski area links the French resorts of Morzine, Lets Gets, Avoriaz and Chatel with the Swiss resorts of Morgin, and Champery. There are over 650kms of marked piste, 208 lifts and over 100 mountain restaurants catering for all levels of skier. In addition to the extensive skiing there are delightful; wooded trails and spectacular mountain views across to Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva.
The sheer size of the ski area enables it to accommodate busy periods with independent skiers able to avoid some of the choke points by simply driving to one of the out of town car parks with express lifts to the heart of the ski area.

Local activities in and around Morzine, Rhone Alps
Boarders will enjoy the numerous snow parks, with jumps and pipes to really get the adrenalin pumping.
Snow record – there has been a great deal of concern over global warming and the effect on snow fall. Portes du Soleil is one of the most northerly of all French ski areas. Avoriaz, with a top lift at 7,500ft, guarantees snow all season. Morzine and Les Gets (top lift 6,000ft) are lower but never the less have excellent snow records. Personally the ambience and real Gallic charm of these towns more than compensate when compared to the soul less, bleak high altitude resorts. It is interesting that once at these purpose built high altitude resorts eg Val Thorens the lack of competition for restaurants, ski schools and accommodation promotes a less relaxing take it or leave it attitude which really does effect how you feel about your winter ski experience.
In addition to skiing and boarding there is also a huge cross country ski area, snow shoeing, skidoo rides, sleigh rides, snow parapenting and much more.
When the snow has melted, the area has still a huge amount to offer. The sheer beauty and clean air provides a perfect backdrop to relax and unwind. However the mountains can be a fabulous playground for all – active or gentle: Pamper yourself at a spa, Trek along any of the 300km of well marked mountain trails, Swim in any of the lakes or the Olympic pool in Morzine, free local tennis courts, Golf at one of the 12 18 hole golf courses in the area, World class mountain biking terrain, Road cycling from the doorstep. On routes used by the Tour de France, White water rafting.
Luge and down hill go karting for the youngsters. Adventure parks for the young at heart-to challenge their limits. Quad biking, Rock climbing from novice to advanced – minutes from the chalet.
The chalet is also an ideal base to explore the stunning lake Geneva and surrounding alpine areas .From glaciers to Gorges Steamboats to trains there really is a huge amount to see and do!
The chalet is quietly located in the village of Le Biot ,10 kms from Morzine and 54 Kms from Geneva.
