Forget-Me-Not Cottage is a 19th Century Miner's Cottage in the tranquil and very attractive Village of Bonsall in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Situated close to the Limestone Way, the cottage offers access to stunning scenery and country walks as well as numerous great holiday activities.

Forget-Me-Not Cottage is a romantic hideaway, offering spacious and luxurious accomodation for couples. The village of Bonsall is situated on the Limestone way, a 26 mile footpath, starting in Matlock and ending in Castleton. A short drive takes you to the High Peak Trail, Carsington Water and the Peak District National Park. A drive slightly further afield takes you to the local market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne and the famous Spa town of Buxton, with their own heritage for you to discover. The stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, where Pride and Prejudice and the BBC'S Jane Eyre were filmed, are also only twenty minutes away.
Whether you are looking for an action packed holiday or a quiet retreat, Forget-Me-Not Cottage is the place to stay. The facilities include one very comfortable King size bedroom and spacious bathroom with a bath and shower over. The cosy beamed living room has an open fire, television, DVD player amd stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge and microwave. The cottage also benefits from gas central heating. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available upon request.

Forget Me Not Cottage is perfectly located to allow access to The Peak district National Park and its treasures, including stately homes such as Chatsworth and Haddon, traditional market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne, as well as the outstandingly beautiful countryside. There are many outdoor activities available locally such as walking, cycling and horse riding.
For the more relaxing holiday visit some of the historical sites including Arkwrights Mill's Middleton Top winding engine, and the Wirksworth Heritage Centre. For younger members of the family there is the Heights of Abraham and gullivers kingdom within a five minute drive.
