A comfortable two bedroom gite arranged on two floors, sleeps 5 plus a baby. The property is a self-contained part of the owners residence, and is the only gite on site. We offer shared use of a large garden, garaging for cycles or golf clubs and ample parking. We welcome children and cater for their needs.
Quercamps is a quiet rural village situated 25 mins from Calais and Boulogne, 10 mins from the historic town of St. Omer. We are also situated on the outskirts of the Foret de Tournehem, famous for its cycling and walking. We have a village shop with an excellent choice of wines just 100 meters from the house.
The gite is situated at the rear of the owners residence. The garden is fenced and safe for children. We have garden furniture/sunloungers available and a BBQ area right outside the gite.
There is an open plan living room and kitchen, which is well equipped with gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, ample pots, pans and crockery, iron, ironing baord and washing machine, indoor and outdoor clothes airer. The lounge has satellite TV, DVD and video players, comfortable seating, table and chairs. A gas heater for winter visits.
On the first floor, the largest bedroom has a double and a single bed, which leads to the second bedroom with two single beds. The shower room is off the second bedroom and comprises w.c., hand basin with shaver socket/light and a shower cubicle. The upstairs has natural light via velux windows and the property is centrally heated during winter months.
We offer stairgates, travel cot and high chair for families with young children. Sorry, we do not take pets or smokers. We supply, with our compliments, a Cheese and Wine Welcome Pack, just to get you in the mood!
Included in your rental is all hot water, gas bottles for cooker and lounge heater and lighting. (Electric c.h. is metered and payable upon departure). Bed linen for all beds (not cot), changed weekly. Towels can be hired for 6 euors per person for one bath and one hand towe each, changed weekly. We ask that the gite is left in a clean and tidy state and do not expect to make an additional charge for cleaning unless it is unsatisfactory. We do ask for a damages deposit of 100 euros, (in cash upon arrival), fully refundable at the end of your stay if breakages are replaced. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

CYCLING in this area is famous. There are tracks for the enthusiastic mountain biker and for those who prefer a more leisurely ride. The beautiful countryside also offers routes for WALKERS. We are only 25 mins from the BEACHES of the Cote de Opale which offer clean and safe facilities for water sports and families. St. Omer is an attractive historic town, also famous for its RESTAURANTS and weekly MARKET on Saturday mornings.
ST.OMER GOLF CLUB is situated just 4 miles away - making us an ideal base for golfers. We also have garage space for storing clubs etc.
The popular wine exporter HALLES DE QUERCAMPS is just a few yards away - perfect for buying all your french wine at very good prices. The French owner speaks English and certainly knows his wine!
There is lots to see and do in this region from theme parks to sporting activities, from WWII attractions to Wine tasting. There is something here for everyone.
We have an information folder in the gite, so you can plan your holiday and make the most of your time in France.
We are situated between the RN942 from Boulogne and the RN943 from Calais. Quercamps is south of Foret de Tournehem on the D225. We forward more detailed instructions at the time of booking.

Rental Notes: A week in our gite is normally based on Saturday to Saturday. However, we may be able to offer alternative days out of season. Out of Season week end breaks of upto 3 nights for £150. (Just perfect for topping up the wine rack and enjoying a little bit of France!).
CHRISTMAS IN FRANCE??? Complete with christmas tree, mince pies and crackers!! £375 for the week.
We would request that our guests vacate by 10.00 a.m. and arrive after 4.00 p.m. Please do not arrive/vacate during the hours of 11.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m. If your travel arrangements differ from the above, please discuss them with us at time of booking.
We require a damages deposit of 100 euros, payable upon arrival. This is fully refundable assuming the property is left in a satisfactory condition.
If you are going to be delayed by more than a couple of hours when you arrive, we would appreciate a phone call if it is possible. We like to meet our guests when they arrive and show them round the gite.
