New 2 bed apartment situated at the foot of the beautiful Pohorje mountain range which provides excellent all year round outdoor sports. The property is also within 3km of Marbor, Slovenia's second biggest city with all the amenities a city offers.
Flights to the nearest airport in Graz 60km away are via Stanstead with Ryanair. From Graz you can travel onto the apartment by taxi, by train or hire a car at the airport. Other routes are Easyjet from Luton to Ljubljana approx 120kms from apartment. Ryanair from Stanstead to Klagenfurt approx 100km from apartment.
The apartment is situated on the second floor and has secure underground parking and a lift. Its location is ideal just a 3 minute walk to the cable car station giving access to the Pohorje mountain range. There is something of interest for everyone. Within a 5 min walk of the apartment you will find absolutely all you need whilst on holiday. A number of fine but inexpensive restaurants and bars, supermarket, butchers, bakery, coffee shop etc.
There are also a number of SPA,s situated nearby. The closest being 2 mins walk away at the Habakak(a 5 star hotel without 5 star prices). Within 30mins drive are two golf courses and within 60km are two water parks the larger being Therme 3000.
The Pohorje area has as many if not more attractions in the summer. The cable car and one of the chair lifts remain open all year round to transport you up the mountain. Attachments to these lifts mean that you can transport cycles to the top of the mountain to join the many bike trails in the area. These range from short gentle routes suitable for all, the more demanding longer routes across the top of the mountain range to a full on mountain bike course used each year on the world mountain bike championships.

The apartment is situated in an ideal area to participate in all year round sporting activities.
In the wintertime Mariborsko Pohorje becomes one of the most attractive skiing centres in Slovenia hosting the annual world cup women’s downhill golden fox competition. There are 40km of ski slopes and 30km of connecting paths spread over 220 hectares joined by 21 cables that are able to serve 18,000 skiers per hour. The diversity of the ski slopes ensures skiing for beginners, families and black runs for more demanding skiers. Pohorje has 10 km of illuminated ski slopes for night skiing and snow guns ensure a longer ski season. A multi ski pass enables you to also use the ski centres at Kope, Ribnisko Pohorje and Kranjska Gora.
In the summertime Pohorje has equally as much to offer either in the way of relaxation or sporting activities. The area is great for hikers and mountain bikers as it boasts a dense network of marked paths and is surrounded by the local wine growing hills. Within a short walk there is a golf driving range and within a 30 min drive there are two golf courses. Close by is the river Drava providing fishing, sailing and canoing. The area is also renowned for its wine and there are a number of wine roads running close by the apartment

Rental Notes: Daily rates available on request. Minimum stay 3 nights.
Vacate by 1200(noon). Availability from 1600 on day of arrival. No smoking allowed within the apartment or on the balcony. No pets allowed. Prices may be subject to change at owners discretion. Long term rental rates may be negotiated. Rental includes the cost of cleaning the apartment.
Reservation is made once a non-refundable deposit of £100 has been received (receipt provided). The balance is then due 56 days before rental at which time a £100 returnable security deposit will also be required.
If you require a travel cot, then please bring your own. Secure car parking provided. Storage for sports/ski/bicycle equipment is available via use of a secure compound within the apartment block by prior arrangement.

It's location is perfect as it has easy access to the slopes, restaurants and shops (which with children is so very important to get the breakfast stuff in!). "I took my family to the resort in February. We were pleasantly suprised at how big and well appointed the apartment was. The gondola is so close that you can start skiing within minutes. We had ski lessons arranged by Jelka (two students to one instructor) and these were very good and reasonable priced. When staying here you must visit the Spa complex at the Habakuk hotel 200 meters away.
