With superb views of the Luberon and Mont Ventoux, you don’t feel like you’re so close to the amenities, and you soon realise that you’re in an ideal spot for exploring the local area, whether that be cycling and hiking through the beautiful countryside, or visiting the picturesque local villages by car.
An excellent feature of this property is its stylish interior – throughout the villa, there is a soft colour scheme, providing a warm Provencal atmosphere. Despite this traditional feel, there are all the modern appliances that you could need to ensure you have a thoroughly enjoyable holiday!
Should you find yourself inside, hiding from the glorious sunshine, the living room is superbly equipped, with a TV, DVD player and hi fi, as well as comfy sofas. Continuing the theme of excellent equipment, the kitchen has everything that you'll need - an oven, microwave, toaster, cafetiére, large fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There's also a small laundry room, equipped with a washing machine.
A double room with doors opening onto the terrace can be found downstairs, while upstairs there's a double room and a twin room. Each bedroom has excellent views of the surrounding countryside, leading to some very memorable mornings! Bathrooms are also located on both levels - a bathroom and two separate WCs downstairs, and two shower rooms (with large showers) and a separate WC upstairs.
This property is situated on 2500m2 of open land, providing plenty of space to take advantage of the Provencal summers! High quality garden furniture is supplied, and there’s a wrought iron table and chairs and covered terrace, should you choose to dine al fresco during the pleasant evenings. There’s also a carport available. The alarmed swimming pool measures 9m x 4m, and is great for taking a quick dip during the warm days.

Local activities in and around Bonnieux, Cote d'Azur/Provence
The village of Bonnieux, just 400m away from the house, has a rich and varied history and is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Luberon.
In summer, the village is really popular and therefore has some great restaurants and cafés. Although not very big, it has some useful and interesting shops, including bakers, butchers, grocery, pharmacy, post office and tourist information centre. There's also a local market on a Friday.
The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find loads of picturesque villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Maubec) on the doorstep and no doubt you'll want to stop and take some refreshments!
Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger town of Apt is only 15 minutes away.
There's loads to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market.
Also within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence.
If activity is your thing, this area is perfect for climbing, cycling, mountain biking, trekking, golf, tennis and swimming.
The village of Bonnieux lies just 10 minutes off the N99, 10 minutes east of Cavaillon.
