La Confiance is a traditional stone cottage in the South Loire Valley in the Brenne National Park which is a haven for lovers of nature and birdwatchers alike and close to the chateaux and wineries of the Loire Valley. Sue & Chris live on site, completely separate from La Confiance, but are on hand to assist with planning your days out with our knowledge of the beautiful area we live in.
We can offer you either 2 or 3 large family Bedrooms with the original exposed beams and their own en-suite bathroom, and which are large enough to accommodate a large double and 2 single beds. There is a large open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen with split level cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
You have complete use of the totally enclosed 2 acre garden and your own summer house with bbq and sitting area. We have provided a badminton area, and toys and swings for the children. Or alternatively we can offer you bed & breakfast with optional evening meal.
Welcome to La Confiance at Champ d’oeuf our delightful self catering cottage in the South Loire region of France, in the Brenne Natural Parc, known as the land of a 1,000 lakes, where you can walk, birdwatch, or even sit on the beach at Bellbouche. In the morning enjoy your breakfast watching the birds and wildlife in our garden.
We are close to the Chateaux and wineries of the Loire valley, and our local town Azay le Ferron has its own chateau set in acres of beautiful parkland. Chris is a trained chef why not have an evening away from cooking and let us cook for you - Dinner per adult inclusive of local wines and apperitifs 25euro Childrens menu available, we can cater for all dietary needs. We can also offer Bed & Breakfast option for 60euro per night for 2 people sharing a room.

3 Showers. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. The showers all have hydro massage jets, great after a day exploring the area the showers also have the facility to be used as a bath for small children

Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen has recently been fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer and even a coffee plunger.
General:
Central Heating, Maid Service, House Linen, Towels Provided, Internet Access. Included in price is all bedding, towels, electricity & gas, if you stay for 2 weeks we will come in and change the bedding and clean for you after 1 week
Dining:
Seating for 10. Enjoy sitting in the kitchen area round our traditional style farmhouse table, while drinking a glass of Loire wine from your welcome pack.

Video, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games.

The Loire Valley which is a short drive away is noted for its Chateaux and wineries, our area of the South Loire Valley boasts beautiful scenery enjoy tranquil walks and cycle rides round one of the many lakes in the Brenne National Parc known as the land of a 1,000 lakes. This area is perfect for bird waters and animal lovers alike.
Our area is completely unspoilt by mass industry or tourism - discover a whole new experience, while enjoying a traditional French holiday. The climate is delightful Spring is earlier and Autumn later than in the UK , temperatures in the Summer often reaching 30 degrees.
La Confiance is situated in the South Loire Valley Using La Confiance as your base you can spend the day cycling or walking around the Brenne National Parc enjoying the beautiful scenery and visiting one of the 1,000 lakes.
We are within easy reach of all the famous Chateaux and wineries of the Loire Valley, and of course, no holiday to France would be complete without a visit to the local markets. We can even arrange a visit to a goats cheese farm.

We are close to the A28 motorway which runs from the North to the South. Fly to Poitiers from Stansted or Birmingham. Or fly to Tours from Stansted or Dublin.
