Located approx 300 metres from the beach, this apartment has a balcony with a lovely sea view. The apartment is ideally suited for those who want a quiet location and yet be close to all amenities in Lagos. This part of the Algarve is renowned for its beautiful clean beaches and fine golf courses. The Palmares golf-course is located close to the Apartment and can be used by anybody, without membership. Lagos Marina is close by and is ideal for bars, restaurants, English newspapers and facilities for booking trips and entertainments e.g. boat excursions.

The Apartment from the Beach
This apartment is finished to a high standard and all linen and bath-towels are provided. The swimming pool and surrounding area is ideal for sunbathing and enjoying the colourful garden. The air –conditioned apartment contains a fully fitted kitchen with fridge- freezer and washing machine, lounge/dining –room with T.V.which include all Freeview programmes.One double bedroom, twin sofa beds in the lounge and a full bathroom with shower and bidet.
All rooms open out on to the balcony. There is also a large, private roof-terrace where you can sunbathe. Two sunloungers are provided and are kept in the store together with a barbeque. The roof terrace has views of all the surrounding area including the sea and is especially beautiful in the evenings. When there is a celebration in Lagos, (New Years Eve, 25th April and one or two other annual events), the view from the roof terrace of the 'firework display' is spectacular. The roof terrace is what makes our apartment so unique and special.
You will land at Faro Airport, where your hire car will be waiting if you so wish. The Apartment is approx. 45 minutes drive from the airport on the new motorway.

Bedrooms:
1 Twin Bedroom. Twin beds in bedroom, twin sofa beds in sitting room. It has two proper 3ft single bed sofas in sitting room. Your towels and linen are prepared and left inside the sofa beds.
Bathrooms:
1 Bathroom. Bath with shower, toilet, bidet. Hairdryer provided.This is a medium sized bathroom with large mirror and plenty of lights. The shower over the bath is forceful and not just a trickle!
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine, Iron. A very good sized kitchen with everything you could possibly need provided. There is also a table for four that can be moved to the balcony if you prefer to have your meals outside.
General:
Maid Service, Air Conditioning, House Linen, Towels Provided. All the rooms,(except bathroom)have sea views, which makes our apt so fabulous. I love to sit up in bed with patio doors openand looking out to sea.We provide books, dvds,maps,board games,lilo,r.ring.
Dining:
Seating for 4. The dining table is at the end of the sitting room. You can still see the sea from your seat. There are subtle wall lights, nice table cloths and mats, candles and incense sticks are provided.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. This apartment is ideally situated for the town of Lagos.A short walk to the beach or the Marina or the town. A small gym is close and is ideal for meals,swimming in cooler weather,entertainments.
Outside:
Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. The pool is shared but it is never crowded. sun loungers provided and sunshades. As a guess I would say the pool is about 30 ft long and totally private. It is beautifully illuminated at night.

This apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. The level is what gives it such a commanding view and makes it so much better than many other apts and keeps you fit!
Local activities in and around Lagos, Western Algarve
You can party until dawn in Lagos(so I'm told). This is a place where you can be peaceful and relaxed with no sound except the sparrows and the sea or you can party in the town after a good meal.There are many restaurants specialising in the local fish(you can see the fishing boats at night from the balcony)We like to eat cheaply in the smaller places but can can dine in grander style, try Do Cais restaurant on the Marina for a start but for cheaper 9euros for 3 coursest'tourist menu', try the Adega da Marina on the main Avenida. Apart from all sorts of fish, try chicken pirri pirri, a sort of roast chicken with chilli.
During the main holiday season the Camera(Council) put on free concerts in the main square and there are mainly street entertainers,singers and 'statues'. At the Marina you will find shops and tourist information You can go out to sea to watch the dolphins, sail in the 'Bom Dia' sailing boat for barbeques and fun, deep sea fishing trip, grotto trips or on the En125 road out of Lagos there is Slide and Splash water park, Zoomarine where one of our guests swam with dolphins and my shy son in law became part of the entertainment when he was chosen to be part of a clown act!
Some of our guests say they never moved from the balcony, just chilling and reading some say they've done everything. Beaches are superb, your nearest beach,in front of you, is Meia Praia beach, very long with a few restaurants and never crowded. Or Praia Dona Ana beach, smaller and more sheltered with a fab restaurant, the beach at Sagres is also wonderful but with rolling waves and popular with surfers again a great restaurant on the beach. Luz beach a few miles out of Lagos and on the way to Sagres is very popular but busier and popular with Brits. We always feel very comfortable in the Algarve, everyone is lovely and speaks English, the climate is beautiful even on Xmas Day! It is a fresher climate than say Spain which is what we love.
The apt is a small block of 15 apt. It is 45 mins along the A22 motorrway from Faro. I provide detailed directions on booking. I can hire a car for you with 10%discount from Luzcars.

I am very organised with the lettings as I don't want any probs and try to accomadate all your wishes if I can.
