The park: Holiday park Ommen lies nicely quiet in a very forest rich environment, 4 km. from the centre of Ommen. Due to the location it is highly suitable for families with children but also for the seeker of rest. From 2004 till early 2006 there have been placed 60 entirely new detached chalets. Accommodation: The new, spacious, detached chalets are situated in the middle of the forest on a separate part of the park. The interior is modern, of a good standard en provided with all conveniences. As a result of which, you have three bedrooms, two colour TV?s (cable) and a sliding door to the terrace with garden furniture. Pets (obliged to admit at the time of the booking) ? 3,75 per day. Children?s bed and/or chair ? 2,- per stay per day, admit at the time of the booking. Surroundings: Ommen lies centrally in the Overijssels fight valley and is surrounded by a lot of nature beauty, such as the sand-drift the Sahara, little ponds and beautiful moors. The area around Ommen is also called ôThe green heart of Overijsselö. A marvellous biking- and walking area with a lot of variation. In Ommen you can visit the Regional Museum, the National Tin Figures Museum or corn mill the Lily. A round trip by boat on the Vecht is also highly recommendable. Other nice excursions are : Adventure park Hellendoorn, Amusement park Slagharen, Walibi Flevo, Noorderdierenpark Emmen or the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk. For shopping you can go to the Hanze city Deventer. In short, a destination with enough for everyone?s needs!
