Beautifully furnished penthouse, occupying a lovely spot on the Dolphin Residence 2 Complex.
This superb 4 and 5th floor penthouse, occupying a superior spot on the luxury Dolphin Residence 2 Resort, views overs the pools, as well as a roof terrace. The penthouse has lovely furnishings and fully airconditioned. The location is superb, just 10/15 minutes (approx) walk to the old town - 450m, with the all the traditional restaurants and markets, and with the bus (dolmus) going by every few minutes to the beach (from the town), you will not be needed a car for your stay. You are also only 15 minutes walk to the historic monuments of the Apollo Temple.
Our penthouse is located on the luxury Dolphin Residence 2 complex, in the resort of Altinkum, hosting facilities that are second to none. Very tastefully furnished with all bed linen and towels included (except beach towels).
The apartment consists of: Sleeps 8. Fully air conditioned in all rooms. Bedroom 1 = double bed. Bedroom 2 = twin room with 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 = twin room with 2 single beds. Lounge / Diner. Patio doors leading from lounge to a private balcony, lovely views again. Lovely patio furniture with 4 sun loungers, table and 6 chairs. Washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, hob, iron and ironing board.
Superbably located just 10-15 minutes walk from the old town, with all the traditional Turkish restaurants, superb in quality and great value in price. There is shop upon shop here, so many it will keep you busy for several days. The beach is serviced by a free complex minibus, which will take you there 4 times daily (or you can take a walk in 40 minutes). The superb location means you won't be needing a car for this stay.
Altinkum/Didim is known for its soft fine sandy beaches. Very shallow waters for about 80 metres out, making it ideal for families. There is a Saturday market (15 minutes walk) with miles of stalls selling fresh produce, clothing, hand bags accesories etc... this is where the Turkish people shop, so your chance to have a chat with the locals.
Complex details: Lovely adult outdoor pool, surrounded by marble sunbathing terraces and sun loungers, and built around a waterfall. Sit back and relax, you could be in a tropical forest! Childrens pool. Massage jacuzzi pool. Indoor heated pool (seasonal). Gymnasium. Restaurant, bar and mini supermarket (seasonal). Lovely green plantations in the gardens. Childrens play ground. Games Room.
Flights are to Izmir or Bodrum (1.75 or 1.5 hours). Airport transfers can be arranged.
