The location is superb, just a 10/15 minutes walk (450m) to the old town, with the all the traditional restaurants and markets, and with the bus (dolmus) going by every few minutes to the beach (from the town), you will not be needed a car for your stay. You are also only 15 minutes walk to the historic monuments of the Apollo Temple.
Flights are to Bodrum or Izmir, and airport transfers can be arranged.

About the Resort of Altinkum.
Altinkum lies on the Aegean Coast, with flights to Bodrum (1.5 hours) and Izmir (1 hour 45 minutes). Airport transfers can be arranged.
The resort itself is full of restaurants, shops and little boutiques, as well as various agencies providing tours to different historic events, such as Pamukkale and Ephesus. There is a new water park (10 minutes ride outside the resort on a dolmus). It has a host of pools slides, wave machines catering for all the family.
There are resort dolmuses (mini bus) that pass nearby the complex every few minutes (450m away), and take you around the resort for around 40p. There is the old town, with many fine traditional good value Turkish restaurants, serving a huge selection of Turkish cuisine, as well as little streets full of various shops.
